My friend told me that Data Doctors is solid, and I discovered that to be true. I was happy with the price as well. Getting the data back saved me a lot of rebuilding time, so it was more than worth it. Friendly too.

CUSTOMERSERVICEISTERRIBLE! I brought my computer in with a fairly simple operation, the power supply unit needed to be replaced. This is something I would normally handle myself, but as this is a computer I need for my business, I decided to let«professionals» handle and diagnose everything. I brought it in to Data Doctors, and happily paid the extra fees to have my parts over-nighted in so that I could have my computer back the next day. I dropped the computer off WED morning, and waited. After no communication at all on Thursday, I stopped by before closing time. My parts were not there, my computer was NOT done. Friday came and went, with ZEROCOMMUNICATION, again. Saturday, I called to check on it, the employee had zero information. He didn’t know where the part was, and couldn’t even tell me when they expected it to arrive. After some calls to his«boss», he ascertained that my parts«should» be there by next Tuesday, almost a week later than my drop off date. At this point I am fully irritated, so I drive down to the shop to pick up my still broken computer. I arrive to the shop on Saturday during their posted business hours to find a sign on the door stating they were«out to lunch», so I got to wait ANOTHER30 minutes for this company to quit screwing around. Moral of the story: I took my computer home, ordered the new part straight from DELL, and had the part over-nighted here Monday morning for $ 40LESS than data doctors wanted to sell it to me for, not including their evaluation fees. Communication is an important to any business, Data Doctors failed miserably.
