Quiet little joint, I’m often the only customer. Delicious pupusas revueltas. It’s old and dated inside, although it seems like it just got some updates, it’s a bit cleaner lately. Service can be slow, there might be an employee’s kid hanging out, it’s just that kinda place and I like it haha.

Worst service ever the woman here do not know the meaning of customer service we ordered some breakfast and not only did she get the order wrong she still kept arguing with us that she had it right. DEFINITELY would NOTRECOMMEND this place to anyone!!!

Love my typical Salvadoran breakfast. Eggs, casamiento, queso & crema, chorizos asados & café to start the day. Great service. Fast too.

I stopped in here while I went to another store in the complex. I am a fan of pupusas and had seen a sign for them on the sidewalk so I decided to try this place out. I don’t know if I would eat there because it was so hot and stuffy in there, and it is pretty small but their food makes up for it. The pupusas were very good and while I waited for them the server made me feel welcome. I see other reviews for the chicken and cheese pupusas which I want to try next.

First time order: Take-out. Pupusas; Revueltas & Queso con Frijol. * Price = a little over $ 2 each. * Taste = really good. Fresh and fully cooked. Not too greasy or too doughy. Gooey funky cheese(which is a good thing), and had Loroco, very authentic. Beans were soft and tasty. Curtido(pickled cabbage), was crunchy and tangy, well spiced. Tomato sauce was good too. * Portion = adequate. Size of dessert plates. * Service = quick and friendly. Order ready in less than 15min. * Décor = Tables were clean, but place felt tired and a bit dingy. In need of refreshing. I won’t knock off a star for it. Sometimes there is no $ for cosmetic work.

Geat Salvoderean food. I been there to eat tipico salvadorean breakfast and i love it. Also i try the pupusas and they are so delicios… i heard they have special events on the weekend. Alejandra is the owner and i like the fact that she makes you feel like part of the Family

My boyfriend and I stopped by here several months ago when we were in the process of moving to Glendale. The food(at least the pupusas) was very fresh and the waitress was friendly. Had great vegetarian squash pupusas.

Ive been here now 3 days in a row. I cant stop eating their chicken and cheese pupusas. It is great with their rice and beans, and spicy cabbage. The chicken soup is also delicious. They have a special chicken soup made with free range chicken on the weekends. I guess its gonna be 4 days in a row. This food definitely makes you feel good…

Pupusas were really good, not greasy. They were freshly made. The curtido was just too salty. It looks like a Mom & Pop shop. Min of $ 10 must be purchased on card.

I have had better Salvadoran food and when I say better I mean this place ranks near the bottom. The service is alright to slow and the food is very salty or not up to par. The positive is that they ell beer and that they are located in an area not really known for Salvadoran food so if you need a fix in Glendale this is the spot for you.

Pupusas? In Glendale? Here is the ONLY way to go. Amazing, to say the least. We only get their bean/cheese(veg) pupusas,(sometimes with a small order of platanos) and these guys CANT be beat!!!

I’ve been here before, food is ok, but the service SUCKS! We asked for 2 cups of water, she brought 2 bottles.$ 1.50 each. She was being slick, cuz we only ordered 2 pupusas.

Not a fan. Slow service and the waitress isn’t very attentive. We ordered the platanos fritos con crema y frijoles and everything was pretty runny. It tasted fine but the consistency was way too runny… might as well have been served in a glass with a straw. Not planning on returning here, will stick to my usual spot, El Buen Gusto(on Glendale Blvd — about 5 min from this joint).

Bad customer service. The«waitress» doesn’t even have a clue of what she’s doing. Food came out partially done and she’s on the phone. This is total bullshit! And to top it off there was a hair in our food SMH disappointed to the max.

We frequent here often because it is near my house. Pupusas are pretty good and the prices are fair. Not too bad.

On 12÷11÷11 I had a really bad experience at this place. If this place wants to make money selling alcohol until people get really drunk, they should change from being a family restaurant to a Mexican Cantina.

I had one tamale, one taco, one pupusa with rice & beans. The food was spicy and delicious… I got to wash it down with some homemade Jamaica. We all walked away in a comatose state :)

I love this place, even though sometimes it’s kinda weird. weird in the way the waitress won’t notice you’re done, or weird that they sell a latino stomachache remedy behind the counter. but it’s all about the food! the pupusas are tasty, not the best I’ve had, but probably the best in this part of town. my favorite though, is the caldo de camarones. the broth is very well seasoned, and the shrimp are cooked just right. but for the gringos, they do offer some american food as well. but if you’re there, why get a burger when you can get that anywhere else?! true comfort food from el salvador, even for a chapin like me!
