I’ve been to a few different Games Workshops locations and I’ve gotta say this is one of my favorites. I brought my Lady in to introduce her to Warhammer. They have the various games split up logically and it’s pretty easy to find things. They have 4 tables with interesting terrain set up that can handle some smallish skirmishes. One of which has two demo armies set up for each game(Fantasy and 40k) that they can do introductory demo games with prospective players to see if it’s something they’d like. The other tables are available for pickup games for customers free of charge. There is a set of stools along the window for painting the models. Again you can get a free lesson to learn how to paint the models. Bret, the guy who helped us(and seems to fully run the place) was very helpful and knowledgeable. He was able to supplement my limited knowledge and translate ‘gamespeak’ to ‘normalspeak’ for my Lady. There were a number of people in the store and he was able to balance his attention for all of us depending on our needs. He engaged us and answered questions, helped some other new users and helped teach a kid how to paint seemingly all at the same time. Everyone seemed happy and didn’t seem to feel ignored(we sure didn’t).
