During last two years I used to buy fresh and delicious types of Persian (Barbari, Lavash)& Armenian (Madnakash & Phoori) breads from this location, always fresh with awesome and polite young ladies who are doing great customer service, but fortunately on the top of Bakery recently they opened a new grocery market with name of Maple Market with great selection of bread, fruit, dairy product, butchery section with reasonable and affordable pricing, I’m completely satisfy with their staff and product and definitely recommend everybody to visit them once

Just moved to Glendale and was craving nice bread for my sandwich. Came to location provided by Unilocal and they moved the entrance to «715 Glendale ave» which is okay because it wasn’t that far. I walked in the market and it was really nice and clean. I was confused though where I should find the bread but happily the cashier appointed me to it. I then got the black bread and left very happy. DIRT CHEAP like everybody says and taste like traditional bread B.C. Haha it was great I love it

Holy *%# THIS BREAD RIGHT HERE IS deeeeeelicious! Don’t know what it’s called but reminds me of a challah bread, it has raisins and orange! SO GOOD! I almost ate the whole thing

Nothing special, its just simple bread.
But they taste special!
The place is not like any bakery ive been before — interior wise. So i hesitated to get one cuz all the breads looked big to me. I read Unilocal reviews, got the balbari. It was a right choice! Also good price for big portion!

This is THE PLACE to get bread. Their matnakash and sandwich breads are wonderful. And for a slightly healthy option, I stock up on the «half wheat» lavash. I buy in bulk, cut up and freeze for daily use. The pieces thaw quickly and I can feel good about eating it!
And I had no idea about them being open 24 hours! Whoa!

This Bakery is open 24⁄7. Amazing fresh baked «barbari» bread. You know the one which are a bit thinner & is topped with tons of sesame seeds. So perfect for breakfast. Their «matnakash» bread is too doughy for me very glutinous. But hey some people like that. Cash only & bread prices vary from $ 1.99 to $ 3

Omg their bread is SO good. Their matnakash is amazing. The outside is nice and crunchy and the inside is nice and bready and fluffy. It’s so heavenly. Usually matnakash bread is just okay, this is bread is definitely above average. Even the bottom is crispy and it’s only 1.79!

Fresh, fluffy, and delicious bread! Been eating this bread since I was a kid and other bread just doesn’t compare. If you’re getting barbari, I recommend getting two loaves because you’re going to finish at least half of one on the car ride home. True story.

They have very good Barbari. My dad’s favorite place to get it from. Its not too thin, its not too thick (filled with dough)… Prices are reasonable, the people working there are nice…
We recently moved to Granada Hills and found a store that carries their breads! Woohoo! We still get the Barbari from Glendale Fine Bakery, only being sold elsewhere. =]

BEST BREAD IN GLENDALE!
I love the warm fresh baked bread’s they offer… they are OPEN 24 HOURS! Continusly making various breads for customers and local + distant MoM N’ PoP stores around. I highly recommend buying your breads from here, since they are very well known and always fresh!
