Very awful customer service! The employee was very RUDE to me. First he blocked me from searching an item. When I asked for help, he said«I’ll just show you since you’re just looking. I don’t want to bother if you’re not serious». You A-Hole!!! I left. Never returning!

Absolutely terrible customer service. It’s a shame that I even bothered getting a Gold Card here before realizing how dreadful each visit would end up being. They are so terribly unhelpful that I have had to call corporate before just to have them complete a simple return that the manager told me he could not perform. I have worked in retail for 4 years and know that the register system is not lock and key, yet he told me it was impossible to do what I asked. After calling corporate and having them call the store and tell them to do what I asked, the lady who was supposed to help me intentionally strolled around the store while my sister and I waited patiently at the register, then when she came she did the exchange so incredibly slowly that it seemed like a joke. Not only that, but she made sure to zero out some bars to keep it in line with the current promotion — ok? It was a direct exchange but she didn’t seem to understand that — and when she was done she told me she had taken more in as free than she was supposed to and tried to charge me extra when she rang up the new bars! I told her I would not be paying a penny more and she typed in an amount of «cash» into the register to balance it out. Sadly this isn’t my only disgusting experience here, but I think you guys get the picture. Honestly horrific. I told one employee that I would never visit their location again since their customer service is so bad and he just shrugged and said, «sorry» as if that changes anything. Save your money and nerves and go elsewhere! I buy my supplements and bars either online or at my gym now.

Remarkably horrible customer service. I spoke to the manager who was unfriendly and unhelpful and clearly didn’t know much about the products. A real shame as they just lost a longtime GNC customer…

Tried to use Facebook 50% off coupon here and the employee couldn’t figure out how to use it. After 25 minutes of trying to apply the discount I just gave up and left. Never coming here again.

Sorry for your experience Chris H. but I’m sure glad that since your review 2 years ago much has improved, it must of been your review that they cleaned house! Today I went in with my brother when my cousin went off to Bed Bath and Beyond to get a gift for her friend, yada yada she isn’t important! My brother and I walked in and noticed the lone employee in the store was already attending a customer, so we headed on over to the clearance table in the back of the store to see what they had. My brother is a Gold Card Member and gets a pretty good discount every first week of the month, being we were a week early till his discount kicked in we thought fruity scents from Bed Bath and Beyond w/our cousin was appealing so we decided to do some recon on a couple products. I am a novice to the whole supplements and minerals business while my brother has been taking it for a long time. I actually understand the complex sentence that are scribbled all over those products unlike those«soggy cookies» Chris H. experienced, again I’m sorry bro smh. While my brother and I were looking at some formulas, Luis the lone employee who we had spotted earlier when we both had walked in asked us if we needed assistants. I sure needed it! I told him that I need to cut weight, increase endurance, and recover. Without any hesitation Luis went straight to each and every product that I should take and what they would do. He also laid down a schedule I should follow including meal times that would work for me. I was surprised, thinking now I don’t even know why I was surprised when he throughly explained the Kerb cycle, having a science background I could tell he didn’t miss a hitch and with confidence proceeded to tell me how this cycle would be affected if certain variable were introduced which brought me back memories of the most difficult exams I had ever taken in my life which coincidently was a physiology class. If he is working on salary plus commission, I feel very sorry that my brother and I did not end up purchasing anything because he sure deserved it. Next week we will definitely be back for the Gold Card Membership discount week and hopefully Luis will be working when we come in because he should get all the business with his invaluable service. Again I’m sorry Chris H. there was no out of shape employee today and Luis seemed pretty fit appropriate to work at a GNC.

How many Armenian teenagers does it take to process a return at GNC? Thank God the answer was 3. If it was 4, I would have been SOL. This place not only offers top of the line fitness advice from out of shape teenagers, but you also get to pay double when you check out. Do you have any questions sir? Yes, I wondering what products here can help me look like you? You know, like a soggy cookie that has been left in milk too long.
