I was referred to GranVia Studios by a friend of mine who got their company logo designed by them. I wanted a unique logo and business card design for my plumbing service business, Platinum Plumbing LA.
I told the creative director that I wanted my logo to feature an image of a wrench and a house; I just didn’t know exactly how I would combine the two concepts into one logo. After a few days, I was presented with a design that I wanted to use on my business cards immediately. The designer created a subliminal type of logo, where the actual illustration of the wrench also created the shape of a house through just one single graphic — so awesome. My logo was paired with a modern type, where «Platinum Plumbing» was written out right beneath the logo.
Following the logo design, I immediately received business card design mockups from the designer. I first told the creative director how I wanted the business cards to be printed — with metallic foil stamp on my logo and a stock paper that would fit my budget (to compensate for the more high-​end foil stamp effect). The director immediately suggested that I print on a simple, but thicker, paper (16pt. uncoated) to save money while maintaining decent quality for the special effects I wanted to depict on my card. They came out perfect! Ordered 1000 of them, and it was ready in just 4 days.
I will definitely work with GranVia Studios again in the future and recommend them to others. The creative director was very talented and a pleasure to work with.
