The office got renovated a little because now the waiting room is shared with another MD. The parking lot is also limited now due to that is also shared but there’s a lot of free street parking.
Dr. Arima and Dr. Van Hale are very professional and friendly. The office staff and dental assistants are also proficient. The hygienist works until 6 on Tuesdays.
There’s only one bathroom but it is clean. They have the best magazines.
The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because they are not open on Friday or Saturday.

Dr Arima is THE BEST. I needed a lot of painful dental work (3 crowns and 3 fillings) and she and her staff have totally taken care of me. I feel like I am in very good hands. She is super experienced, professional and really listens to my questions and concerns. The support staff is also very friendly, accommodating and professional. It’s really hard to find a good dentist in Los Angeles, and I am so happy to have found Dr Arima. Most of the dentists I have tried seem more concerned in selling me veneers or whitening my teeth or suggesting unnecessary procedures… sometimes I’ve felt like I was dealing with a used car salesman! Dr Arima feels like being with my small town dentist — someone who cares about the patient and her reputation for superior dental work.

Dr. Arima was my dentist at her previous location. She has been my dentist for many years – as is my family. Everyone in the office is very accommodating and friendly. I know how people hate to go to the dentist, but that is not my case. Dr Arima is very caring and gentle and I have had a lot of dental work done over the years. I highly recommend this dental office to everyone. Dr. Van Hale is just as good and helpful. I love Hilda and Jennifer is an awesome assistant. Just an extra observation — Dr. Van Hale is one handsome dude!!!

Dr Van Hale and his staff are kind and caring. They made me feel at ease and as comfortable as possible while having my dental work done. It’s odd that going to the dentist could actually be a pleasant experience but it really was. I highly recommend them!

I have been going to the same office since 1962. My previous dentist retired and Dr. Van Hale took over the practice about 25 years ago. He is a great dentist and very accommodating and Dr. Arima is as sweet as they get.

Gregory Van Hale has been my dentist for longer than I care to remember. Although I moved from Glendale to the San Gabriel Valley many years ago, I still retain him as my dentist. If you want to know how much I trust him. .. I’m actually willing to drive rush hour traffic to see him, which is something I don’t usually do (my job is close to home). When I was young and broke, he offered me a monthly payment plan just to ensure that I would get my cleaning done, something I still appreciate. He’s funny and talented, and I know that I am far from the only person who makes a commute to see him. Also, I love his hygienist, Hilda. She is sweet, thorough and gentle, and you really can’t ask for more than that.
