Went to McFadden’s and could not get a decent Long Island or Manhattan. Gave up, went to hells half acre across the street and have not been treated better. Great bartender in Allie who hit the mark. General manager bought a round when my wife told him our story. And btw… great scenery !

How about you play fucking rock & roll at your ‘rock & roll’ establishment? Maybe a tribute to Lemmy this week? Wow. Sad.

So we walked in and«Chaz Bono» waited on us. He was so oooooooo rude. 12 other people in the bar… he served us drinks. I gave him 2 $ tip. Then 2 guys sat down next to us and Chaz asked them if they wanted doubles for 2 $ more. I asked him why he didn’t offer me doubles. He said. «I did» and I said I didn’t want them then walked away. We drank the drinks and the«Manager» picked up the empty. Seems that«Chaz» didn’t like that I mentioned the double thing. Then we left. I told the bouncer my issue and«manager» came out and said I was talking about her bartender so she couldn’t help me and they don’t need our business. Wow! Can’t even trust managers. Don’t ever go there!

I absolutely love this place. Mainly because I listen to rock and metal and I like good drinks. Most of the staff that I’ve seen are good peeps. Friendly and respectful. Kelly is an awesome dude. He played just about any band that I asked for. I will continue to come here

Never gave a one star review, and never rated a business before I ever stepped inside of the establishment. I walked up to the bouncer with my wife and asked if they served food. He replied with a drawn out fictional story of his«left nut sack». Took my business to the Yard House and had a great evening.

Good affordable beer prices great music if your into metal. Great spot to go to drink and hang with friends. Bar tab was bad for the amount for the rounds we made. They also have a hot dog guy that serves great custom hotdogs and snacks for that last call sober up. Will be returning.

What a vibe… dark and personal with a video selection spanning the ages on the TVs. Sure, it’s hard to tell a cider from porter from a server sometimes(hey, it resulted in a free beer so how can one complain?!)…but it was dark and I still liked the ambiance! It’s the darker and much more metal version of Cheers!

This place was a huge disappointment. It’s your typical biker bar but the atmosphere was horrible. One couple was thrown out and another was having sex in the bathroom and boasting about it. Trashy.

Every time I’ve gone to this place just seems like a bad vibe. Bouncers seem to be cocksuckers. Seems like it’s a great place o come if you feel like throwing a few punches around.

I will not rest until I take this place down. I will not rest until it loses its liquor license, the employees are prosecuted for theft, assault, fraud, and the building lies vacant. The hellish stories that you read below about Super Bowl Sunday are true. I could fill pages about the nightmare I experienced. The unprovoked assault that was ensued against me by at least 5 burly security beasts who left me with bruises and stole my personal belongings.
My friend and I opted to pay $ 100 to get into this bar early in the day. this after she found out, after flying up from Hawaii, that her ticket broker no longer had tickets. Every patron was nice, no angry team rivalry. all of us just happy to be there celebrating each of our team respective success. Everyone having already been screwed one way or another by some hotel, bar, restaurant in AZ. I guess the state did not know what to expect and tried to make up for it as it went along. I was happy. My team was losing, but I was there, outside the stadium, ready to console other fans. I still had hope that the Seahawks would rally in the last 5 minutes like they had the game before, so I sat in silence at this table where I had been sitting all day. All of a sudden, I’m being yanked off a stool, told to «shut the f up». I was called every expletive in the book. I asked«what? what did I do?. let me get my stuff» including my beautiful feathered wings that a little girl had made for a wounded warrior raffle at the beginning of the season, that I had trekked down to AZ in the spirit of those wounded warriors…. . and here I was being dragged out of the bar for no reason. Had I been with a male friend, I am sure a brawl would have ensued, but I was not match for the aggressive a holes that seemed to take pleasure in beating me up and assaulting me in ways I could never imagine. HHA may think this story is over, but I will NOT rest until I shut this f’ing place down. They f;ked with the wrong person. They may think the«he said /she said» story will get them out of a lawsuit, or that the fact that«corporate» has hidden their video tapes from the Glendale police department(Yes, I filed assault charges) will keep them from getting sued… but I am now becoming something of a vigilante of justice. Sad thing is, I tell my story, I show my bruises, and my LA friends say«that’s just AZ… bunch of thugs»… I got to AZ all the time and have met nothing but GREAT people. I won’t let this sh*thole define the rest of the state. BTW — I hear this happens all the time at this place. I can’t believe it’s still open. I welcome anyone and everyone who wants to help shut this place down. Life is too short to deal with a sh*t hole like this that thinks it can get away with anything just because its across from the stadium. I can think of a lot of places that might pay MORE in rent for this location. especially if this place no longer has a liquor license. JUSTSAYING.

My family and I were at Westgate looking for a place to watch SB when we discovered Hells Half Acre which was hosting the big game. The bar was completely packed, people were shoulder to shoulder with no room to move around; I’m sure completely violating fire code. I was a little apprehensive about staying, but had already paid the money and didn’t want to miss the game. Within minutes of being inside, I had a server tell me I couldn’t stand there; near the bar. There were so many patrons inside, I had nowhere to move. I attempted to slowly inch my way away from the bar, but within minutes heard a waitress ask me to move. As I attempted to take a few steps back, I stepped on someones foot and as I was apologizing to the gentleman for stepping on him, the waitress shoved me with the rear end and knocked me into the man next to me, causing me to spill some of his drink. I looked over to her in shock, to find her screaming,“I’ll drop these fucking drinks and f*** you up b****!” I thought to myself,“Who was she talking to?” before I realized she was screaming at me! I looked at few of the people around me but no one knew why she was reacting in this manner. Within 5 min, she heads back with 3 bouncers, pointing at me saying,“It was that one and her group!” The bouncer came up to me saying,“You need to go. Come with me.” I asked what was going on. He replied,“You need to leave!” I asked for an explanation but all he would say was,“You are mistreating our staff so you need to go!” I tried explaining there was a terrible misunderstanding and that they must have the wrong person. He repeatedly replied,“That doesn’t matter! If they points you out, you need to go!“ At this point my daughter tried to explain we just got here and they must have the wrong people. One of the bouncers told her to put her drink down and leave. She again questioned where this was coming from, when the bouncer knocked the drink out of her hand while shouting in her face,“Shut the f*** up! You need to go!” At this point she yelled back at him telling him to listen to what we were trying to tell them. The bouncer(a redhead with a red beard) grabbed my daughter who is 5’1, turned her around in a chokehold and pushed her out the door while screaming,“I said Shut the fuck up and get out!” I was in disbelief of what was happening. I can maybe understand if we were belligerent, or starting problems but we were literally inside for less than 10 min from start to finish. Just incase you’re wondering if I/we were intoxicated and acting out, the answer is no. We flew down from WA for the festivities and visit with family. I’m a nurse in my 40s who doesn’t drink, and my family are professionals who didn’t even have an opportunity to have their first drink before we got kicked out. The way we were mistreated and how everything was handled was absolutely unacceptable and humiliating. Ridiculous. Don’t waste your money here. It makes me sick to even give 1 star, I’d give a negative number if it allowed me to! Emailed their corporate office. Will have to see if they bother intervening.

Yo *ff this place. They stole 200 from us and then kicked us out. This was for super bowl. I don’t recommend this place cause the waitress will blame everything on you. Hop over to whisky rose next door cause they are way more friendly.

I’m warning you now, this review is long. My entire experience from beginning to end was absolutely horrid so I want to share it. My boyfriend, mother, aunt, and I flew into town for some Super Bowl tail-gating but didn’t have a place to actually watch the game, and after leaving our pregame party we stumbled upon Hells which lived up to its name. I asked the burly bouncer at the back entrance named Steve if they were at max capacity and his response was«kinda». After trying to get a better understanding of what kinda meant his reply was«You give me $ 200, walk in and you never met me…» It was a little sketchy but every other bar was full and were charging about that much per person rather than for our whole group of 4, so we felt that it was our only option. So we get in, it’s packed but the vibes were good… for about 10 min. The guys near us were having a good time and bought my aunt and I a drink so as my attention is at the bar I hear some commotion behind me and all I see is my mom get shoved out of the way by a waitress and the waitress began threatening her saying«I’ll drop these drinks and kick your a** b****!!» My mom is a little 5“3 korean lady that hasn’t had a drink since about the late 80s so she was by no-means belligerent and trying to start any problems. So as the waitress marches on she points and tells security«ITWASHER» and next thing you know I have a 6ft security guard slapping my brand new drink out of my hand and putting me in a forward Nelson yelling at me to «shut the f***» up and to get the f***” out. This all happened so quickly and I can’t even express how mortified I was that he shoved me through crowds of people in that position off my feet. Oh and please note, I’m 5“2 roughly 115lbs being man handled by a 6ft 180−200lb man. It was humiliating, uncalled for and absolutely unnecessary to say the least. After he dragged me out, I stood there trying to figure out what in gods name just happened mean while he puts his hands in my face telling me again to «shut the f*** up and leave now». So while I’m glad he didn’t do this to my mother, all I could think was«nobody even blamed me for anything so why have you chosen to come after me of all people?!» You can’t assume and then follow through by handling a woman that way. I couldn’t and still can’t believe that happened. So here I am standing there, sober, wearing my drink, humiliated, crying and missing kick off. As this is happening I see the same security guard come out yet again but this time he’s literally dangling off another mans neck, trying to bring him to the ground(but failed because unlike me, this man was giant) and everyone along the way was screaming to get off of him because he hadn’t done anything. I didn’t see what THAT commotion was about but I have a really good feeling we were in very similar situations. So after i did what I could to compose myself, I thought maybe if I approached the security guard calmly and just try to talk to him about the situation, maybe we could straighten everything out and we could either get our money back or at least get our spot back and his response was«Nope. Sorry. She pointed to you so you gotta go. Bye.» Talk about poor communication amongst staff. She actually never pointed to me… not that it mattered now. So I eventually just dropped it and we all stood next door at WR where the security guy there was stern but still such a nice guy. He told me that for whatever reason Hells staff gets too rowdy with the crowd when it starts filling up and that I wasn’t the first he’s heard about. I asked him if that’s how theyre taught to handle situations and he said they’re suppose to match force with force. So though I do believe I’m decently strong, I don’t think I’m 6ft tall UFC fighter strong. Shortly after having that conversation I go to the bathroom and I’m nearly trampled by MORE of Hells security as they’re taking another man down… Where people come off thinking it’s ok to treat innocent people this way, I have no idea. But do yourself a favor and do not EVER step foot in this bar. I have NEVER felt so disrespected and violated in my life. $ 200 to watch the game on a mediocre TV setup, gone before they even did the coin toss. Still can’t wrap my head around this HORRIBLE experience. It makes me sick that I even have to give them 1 star.

The bar was dark and the music was way too loud. We paid a cover to watch the UFC fights but the manager turned the tv we were watching(only 4 in the whole bar) to a college football game. When we asked him to turn it back he cursed and yelled at us complaining about how hard his job is keeping people happy. We will never be back!

It’s a super dark, kind of gothy bar, but we had a great time. The drinks were a great price, the bartender was always really nice. We stopped by in the afternoon before a concert so it was pretty quiet at the bar.
