Love this place, it’s reasonably priced and they have well priced alcohol. Be warned, the levels of spiciness are as follows: 5 if you’re absolutely sure you can handle it, 4 if you have spicy food at least once a week, and 3 if you really enjoy it(I hadn’t had spicy food in a while so I was tearing from it and enjoyed the 2 more so I wouldn’t have to drink as often). Everything is well-cooked, too.

I ate here once and liked it enough to buy a Groupon, but apparently the restaurant has CLOSED. Groupon notified me and I got a refund.

An excellent first run for a new friend. I felt right at home down the flight of stares into the beautiful color and warm interior of India’s Flavor. Two servers worked with us throughout our three-course meal and they were both lovely, warm, friendly and eager to ensure we were satisfied. I highly suggest happy hour, 4−7PM weekdays, it saved us a small bundle; two appetizers, four soups and Naan were all 50% off. Everything was delicious, see my photos for close-ups. I appreciate a good solid vegan option at a restaurant, this menu is bursting at the seams with alternatives. I’m already looking forward to round two. Ding!

Sooooo Fuuuucking Gooood! Look, they keep a very vegan menu. Price is higher than nearby competition, yet they maintain a good standard of service and again, really yummy offerings. I now intend to visit for happy hour someday, considering their prices drop by 50% and they have Kingfish Head x Taj Majal! Dark and underground location can use a bit of a makeover but it lends itself to a good evening vibe I’m sure. I went during lunch and it took a minute for my sight to adjust after wards. Take my word for it, I clearly frequent Indian joints, and this is one of my new favorites. Now, piss off!

You can’t go wrong with the chicken tikka masala and the chicken tandoori! By far the best Indian food in LA. I tried them through eat24, and I wasn’t disappointed. And if I may add, they have the best Kheer! I could have it everyday for dessert.

I was walking down Brand Blvd toward the Americana when I saw a sign that said $ 9.95 for all you can eat. Smelled great. You have to walk downstairs like it’s a doungeon or something. I ate at this place like almost 2 years ago when it was first opened. The meal was really just blah… Boring as heck. So I was really looking forward to a bland and boring all you can eat. I’m alreay weary of all you can eats being bland and boring in general. TOMYSURPRISE, it was hot, fresh, tasty, and full of aromas and flavors. They had some ground chicken type dish that you place on rice. probably the single greatest indian dish I have ever eaten! They had the regulars like Saag and Chicken Curry and Masala. Everything was super tasty. Super fresh. The NAAN! Ohhhhh, the NAAAAAN! They bring it fresh every 15 minutes or so. Garlicky. Melted Buttery. Melt in your mouth goodness! About 9 or 10 items from the all you can eat to choose from. The lone complaint I have was on the finishing of the course. The desert. It was supposed to be a rice and vermicelli pudding. Just not good. Very boring. Needed to be sweeter. But I gotta say besides the desert item, one of the best all you can eats I have eaten for the price you pay. Definitely worth it. They have a stage with a screen playing Indian movies. Bollywood music is on as well. Good Bollywood music! Not the old stuff. Comtemporary. And they seem to have shows like Jazz and Comedy acts on the stage Friday and Saturday nights.

My husband and I were glad to have finally found India’s Flavor, which in my opinion had reliably good food, that WAS reasonably priced and that would also deliver to our area. Now, it appears they have jacked-up their prices and we simply cannot afford to pay top dollar for any meal, but especially for«standard» tasting Indian food. $ 5 for Samosa? $ 4 for a Mango Lassi? $ 5 for Gulab Jaman?! $ 11 for a plain Masala dish???@#?!@? What the heck?!? Glendale ain’t Silverlake, or South Pasadena! India’s Flavor has in return lost hugely loyal and what would have been frequent customers and we won’t be ordering again until the prices return to «reasonable».

Finally found another good Indian buffet to rival Flavor of India in Burbank. In my opinion, this place is the same quality. Buffet was cheap($ 9.99), and had a nice selection. The naan was awesome(buttery and fresh), the watermelon was juicy and fresh, they served paneer at lunch(unusual for a buffet), and the chicken tikki masala was very good(though a little on the salty side, IMO.) The mango lassi was great, and the service was phenomenal. I had a few plates and left so full, I could barely walk — the sign of a good buffet. Looking forward to coming back again soon.

Just Blah… There was nothing here that would make me ever want to come back. Everything I ordered was bland Cheese Naan, Garlic Naan Blah… Chicken Tikki Masala tasted like they just cooked it in Ragu sauce. Ordered Paneer pakoras as an APPETIZER… Came after my main order. I usually give restaurants a second chance, but the service was bad and when the manager came to talk to me about the quality of my meal, instead of trying to help he wanted to argue with me about what the Chicken Tikki Masala should taste like.(I was NOT trying to get a refund or anything I was just expressing my opinion on the food because he asked me how it was). The food was bad, but what really annoyed me was how I had to practically beg for attention for refills and my check.

Mmmmm Indian food! Who doesn’t love the smell of curry and paprika? I know I do! And that is definitely the first scents you get when you walk downstairs into the hidden restaurant. I really liked the food here. We had the chicken tandoori and a salad. Both were great! The tandoori comes on a sizzling hot plate, and its pretty festive, decorated with flowers. Speaking of festivity, the entire restaurant is pretty Indian-esqud. There’s a big screen where they play Indian music videos. The décor needs a little touch up, but definitely sets the Indian mood. The service was perfect. Really nice waiters, who aren’t pushy or overwhelming. Definitely a hit, and I will be back!

Got the lamb Voodaloo Curry, normal spicy(you must advice them how hot you want them, otherwise you’ll be wondering why you order it) the deserts are amazing, the best part is that the owners always come to greet you at the table and ask if they can improve on the food or service… that’s great customer service for a great food

My family and I went here last night for our first time and we all LOVED it! I’m already ready to go back again! My favorite dishes: — Vegetable Korma — loved this curry! — Lamb Korma — same curry but with lamb(delish) — Coco — another great curry — Matar Paneer

In the past, I can recall a few Indian restaurants that use to be in Glendale, but those have long since gone. So when I saw a place called India’s Flavor, it caught my attention right away. I’ve eaten here 4 times so far, and the food is delicious. The tandoori chicken is great, as well as their naan bread(hope i spelled that correctly). Also, the vindaloo is very good as well. The service there is great. All the waiters and waitresses that have served me were very friendly.

Note that my last review was almost two years ago. When my husband and I were looking for a close Indian place that delivered, he ordered from this place not remembering the horrible food from the last time. This place is amazing now, we order here a few times a month now. The one thing I don’t think is amazing is the prices for each dish, but seriously, flavor here is definitely not sacrificed nor is it missing. Nice big chunks of paneer cheese in every dish, each dish we have tried here has been full of one of a kind flavor. We love the naans and the basmati rice. They also have a great delivery service that takes the credit card swipe with them if you don’t have cash. They totally make the delivery service complete! 5! 5! 5!

I’m writing this review because this place deserves an honest and fair review. India’s Flavor has delicious Indian food. Let’s all get over the fact that, as most other reviews have pointed out, the space is odd. So what if the restaurant is underground? Can you really tell when you’re eating? There is a parking structure close by and hearty food inside — that’s what matters! The servers are attentive and friendly. They’ve even said to us, «Hey! You’re back!» when they’ve recognized us. I never have to ask for a refill on my water because they are so attentive. The veggies samosas are freshly fried, but not oily, and the curry flavor is perfectly balanced by the sweet veggies inside. The tikka masala, saag and vindaloo are divinely spicy, warm, sweet and hearty. We usually get Very Spicy, spicy level 4, which is consistently spicy and not to where I’m sweating. I could eat a whole order of garlic naan myself… it’s some of the best naan I’ve had in the LA area. The prices are reasonable. Each dish is about $ 10; my husband and I usually order two dishes, naan and rice which comes to about $ 30 and we always have leftovers. I think a dinner date for $ 30 with leftovers for lunch the next day is a steal! On some nights, they have open mic night where local acts come to perform on their stage. I really enjoyed the artists’ performing while I ate! Live entertainment really made the dining experience richer. So, yes, when you walk in to India’s Flavor, you may wonder why the restaurant is underground or why the space looks so odd, but hopefully you will experience great service and delicious food as I have each time I’ve been here, and quickly realize that the location’s quirkiness makes India’s Flavor a wonderful hidden gem.

Oh Boy. Something about this restaurant just doesn’t work. The space is awkward, it feels cold. The food is fine. nothing special. Can’t see myself coming back to this location. Bummer.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place! You walk downstairs into the restaurant, which is super clean and surprisingly huge. The samosas were tasty and not too oily. The curries could’ve been a little spicier(I love heat!), but they had good flavor. The garlic naan was one of the best naans I’ve had — super fresh! The only downside was the«vegetable of the day» that came with the lunch special, which tasted just like Mexican beans.

Wow, thinking about a review is making me crave Indian food. India’s Flavor is a hidden jewel on Brand Blvd. First off, the location itself is really amazing and clean. There is plenty of seating. The moment I walk in with my guests, we were greeted by the waiters(all 3 times I have been here.) The food is AMAZING. The quality is really great. Sure the portions might be a bit on the smaller and pricier side, but it definitely is worth it. They even ask you how spicy you want the food to be which is really nice. They rven bring you different varieties of sauces from mild to hot. Hands down, the masala is the best as well as their chicken tandoori. They have quite a lot on their menu, from vegetarian, fish, chicken, and lamb. They even have different types of rice which is great as well. I’ve been to quite a lot of Indian restaurants, and this place definitely goes on my top 5.
