Guys this place is AWASOME. Trust me. Go for a massage and you will leave happy. Very nice msaage and very nice lady $ 30 for 30 mins :-) I am going there again tonight.

Used to be their number 1 fan. but they just slickly cut my massage short 15 minutes and when I brought it to their attention they said it was because they were «busy» (mind you with absolutely no one in the waiting room). When I asked for my very generous tip back to give less they said no because this is a very «tough job» and offered instead an extra15 minutes next time since I’m a regular. No thank you. Maybe if they were upfront about it this wouldn’t have been a problem, but the situation left a very bad taste in my mouth. It was good while it lasted Ivy Spa, but our love affair ends today.

It’s was the bad services. You have the pay the tips and there is no choice. This the way that they are working. And if u do not pay the tip they gonna charge you anyway. And they do not respect the customer and they just want the money. And the employee do not have the experience on the message. Also they can not speak even one word English language.

So my boyfriend and I went to this place and we got the «90 minute body and foot massage»
First off what kind of place makes you pay before the service? We ignored that and we went on for our massage. The rooms smelled disgusting. The massage seemed ok in the begining then they took off the towel which was covering what should be covered and I felt like I had been violated from my privacy. The whole time they were going back and forth out of the room. And it was supposed to be a full body massage and she only massaged my back and it was supposed to have hot stones which didn’t. Once my 60 minutes was up she told me to switch to the other bed for the «foot massage». She did the remaining of my body massage there and did my feet for about 5 – 10 minutes and wearing gloves which irritated me. So the massage pretty much sucked and felt like I was totally violated the way they massaged. So I was like whatever ill go to someone different next time but what topped it off was that once we were finished and about to leave. So we gave them a tip even though it was not a good massage $ 10 each they had the nerve to say it was too little and we were just shocked that anyone would say that because first of all tip is not manditory its courtesy. And when someone does give a tip you take it and say thank you. So I would definitely not recommend anyone to go there.

My back was hurting badly and had to kill some time in Glendale area so I searched for foot massage place and found Ivy Spa. The staff who answered the call said it is not really a foot massage place but they have a 90 minute combo that will include a 60 min of hot stone massage and 30 min of foot massage. My body was so tight, I could certainly use a 90 min massage so I made an appointment at 5:30. There is a sign stating that parking is in the back since I found a street parking in front of the store, I parked on the street. the room was a little warm when I walked in, they seemed to adjust the air later and made it more comfortable. Lucy was the lady who gave me the massage, I asked for strong massage and certainly got what I wanted. I have been to many places for hot stone massages, this place seemed to keep the warmer inside the same room so I enjoyed the hot stone treatment longer than usual. When an hour was over, she asked me to move to another bed for the foot massage. It was just a regular foot massage and not foot reflexology. Nevertheless, the overall experience was great and the price was right.

I was treated to a nice, big glob of some unknown man’s semen on my butt! Let that sink in for a minute. It was the most disgusting experience of my life. I wish I could give negative stars, to say the least. And to top it off, just like the other one star reviewer, I was ripped off for $ with the «I don’t understand English» routine when I asked for a refund. So I had to pay them to be demoralized, disgusted, and traumatized. Yay! If I didn’t need a massage before, I sure did now.
I should have done some research before trying to get a good deal with a $ 40 coupon for 90 min massage! Looking back, it all makes sense. Paying up front and being asked to tip before receiving the massage, sketchy surveillance cameras, large puppy pad type paper on the bed, late night hours every day of the week… the list can go on. They advertise «Clean showers.» What?
Ok, so this is what happened for anyone in total horror and suspense like everyone else I’ve told, I disrobed and laid on the bed face down. There was a white folded smallish towel at the foot of the bed which I pulled up to cover my behind. I laid there for a second before noticing something cold on my bum. I thought, hmmm, probably some errant lotion got on the towel, so I reached back with my hand to investigate. What I came up with was, in fact, semen. Trust me. Evidently, they just reuse dirty towels. Fold them back up, and good as new!
Thank God I had hand sanitizer in my purse to clean myself up. I told the young lady there was something sticky on the towel and got the hell out of there as fast as I could and ran home to scrub the slimy film off of my bum. Days later, I’m still soaking in bleach. Perhaps this is what the «clean showers» are for? I should’ve slowed down and thought about that;)
A quick Google after the incident turned up a backpage ad which boasts about their «young, sexy Chinese girls.» Btw– it looks like the other «soliciting sex» review has been removed from Unilocal.If you’re a depraved dude who needs these types of «services,» I can only pray that you’re treated to the same misfortune that I was! Hehe. Something’s (or someone’s) gonna getcha, one way or another, at this joint! Those cameras serve a practical purpose, I’m realizing now.

I was asked to pay upfront for a 90 minute massage combo (fully body and feet). I didn’t have a problem with that at all, but did think it strange.
The entire massage lasted 75 minutes.
I was very polite and kept trying to explain the the lady that I had paid for 90 minutes. She, too, was polite and kept saying «No, no, English.»
I finally went to the counter and informed the manager. The manager was very condescending. This is why I always feel a bit upset when people are too dumb to distinguish between courtesy/​kindness and weakness/​passivity. At the point where the manager kept repeating «Honey, honey, no problem, okay,» I realized that I had to stop being so polite and had to break it down for her.
I asked to speak with the owner and was told that there was not owner. I couldn’t help but break into a laugh. No owner. This business had no owner.
When running a business, it is imperative that mistakes be corrected or at least be acknowledged.
The massage itself was mediocre.
I would never return to this place.
And, now I’ve just read Kate M.‘s review. Soliciting sex?
Man, that’s all bad.

This mental health worker was taking a mental health day (we need them too!) and a massage seemed like an absolute necessity. I’d gotten a postcard advertising Ivy’s grand opening special in the mail: $ 40 for an hour full-​body massage and half hour foot massage, so of course that seemed perfect.
Natalie M. described Ivy really well — doesn’t seem like a super relaxing spa atmosphere, but you know what, for the price I’m not sure I can expect Burke-​Williams. They seemed to sort of be hurrying me along, which ended up being a bit weird for me when the manager came in to give me my change and I wasn’t covered up yet. I definitely get the feeling that modesty isn’t expected, since when I got off the body-​massage table to move to the foot-​massage table, my massage therapist didn’t even look away. I’m sure she’s seen a billion boobs, but it was a bit awkward — word to the shy.
The body massage was fine, I was checked to make sure the pressure was ok. There was a little padded thing to go around the head-​hole, but that was raised enough that I ended up with a sore neck afterward, definitely the opposite of why I was there. The foot massage started with a warm foot soak in blue water for ten minutes while my hands, arms, neck and scalp were massaged, then a nice relaxing foot rub.
I’d like to try a hot stone massage next. For prices this low, why not go back?

Very thin walls so you can hear street traffic and even person in the next room getting massaged, break room noise, phone ringing, etc.)
Not a «spa» atmosphere
If you just need to get some body work done then this is a good place for that as they give good massages. If you want to relax and have the full spa environment this is not the place for that. (My gut feeling tells me men are the preferred client. ;) I could be wrong.

My friend stumbled upon this place last week and recommended it since they are having a new opening special for massages and foot massaged. We had a long a day and so we decided to check it out. They are currently running many specials, but we decided to do the 90 minute massage (full body and foot) for $ 40 — you can not beat that price for a massage!
The reception area is clean and looks new and there are numerous options for oil, swedish, and hot stone massages. There are a number of different private rooms for the massage and a few rooms with multiple tables for couples or groups.
I was treated to a pretty good foot massage and the full body massage was exactly what I needed — good pressure and very relaxing. It was the first time I ever experienced a hot stone massage, but that was really good.
Overall, if their prices stay like this, I will definitely be back when I am visiting the area again. The staff and massage therapist were nice and very professional.
