I came here for a cut and she also styled it for a party I was going to. I have never had a hairstylist put so much care into the construction of my cut and shape. I felt like she literally assessed my whole head and hair and asked me about what I run into and am looking for. It was an in depth process. She then went to work and it was like watching a fine painter, she was intent and really precise about each cut.
Janet is a very conscious and helpful person who will really listen to you and fully understand your hair and your needs. I see some stylists kind of hack away with wild abandon and it freaks me out a bit.
We ended up taking off 4 inches because it just wasn’t healthy, my hair had been well down my back. My hair feels like silk and I have washed it since the cut. I normally don’t touch my hair for as long as I can after getting a cut and style because it’s fun to enjoy the perfectness but I was SO curious what it would look like after washing it.
My hair literally swooshes, it’s cute and bouncy and healthy looking and feels glorious.
Because I was heading out to a party she asked if I wanted any particular style so we went for a Bridget Bardot look which was unbelievably cute and chic.
As a note, first time customers get half off services — which is totally wild. I have never gotten such a good deal. Especially considering the cuts are normally very moderately priced to start with.

I’ve had VERY short hair (think Ginnifer Goodwin-​short) for a while and wanted to grow it out. This is always a painful process as anyone who has had to go through it knows. I went to Janet to help me look decent while it grows out. It’s been about 8 months since the 1^st cut and I’ve gone back every month or two to get it updated. Needless to say she is amazing!!! It is the best grow-​out I have EVER had. I get complements on my haircut constantly from friends and total strangers!
I also took my 6 year old son to her and she gave him the baddest faux-​hawk. It really rocked!
If you are looking for a stylist and have a hard time putting trust into someone new, rest assured you are in very good hands with Janet. I love her and will keep going back!
