I’ve lived here almost 2 years and I’ve been extremely happy. I remember reading a few negative reviews online before I moved in that almost turned me off, so I wanted to add my positive review to the interwebz. Pros: — Whenever I’ve needed anything fixed in the apartment, it’s been fixed SAME-DAY or next day, which is amazing. No calling management over and over. Simply drop them a note in the on-site office and it’s fixed! — So far rent has not been raised. After our one-year lease we decided to stay on a month-to-month basis and it’s only an extra $ 50/month. — Our unit is HUGE for the price we pay. We actually looked into moving closer to my job(in Culver City) but couldn’t find anything similar for the price. — Two parking spaces in a secured underground garage for a 2-bedroom. AMAZING. — LOTS of closet space. Cons: — The walls are a bit thin and the windows are single-pane. We do occasionally hear the neighbors talking(at a normal volume) next door, but unless we’re trying to sleep, it’s not an issue. We got a white noise machine in that case and it works just fine. We can hear the train at night and in the morning through the single-pane but not really loud enough to wake you up, unless you’re a REALLY light sleeper and I don’t think it runs all night. — The stove is electric, not gas, which is a bummer but I knew that when we moved in. — Pets are not allowed, but the manager does have a dog(which she tries to hide). Seems a big hypocritical, but oh well. — The water pressure can get low in the faucet, but whenever I’ve complained about it, they’ve fixed it, so it may be specific to our unit.
