King Furniture

This is a fairly small furniture store on San Fernando Blvd. The displays are clean and laid out well, but the furniture is not of much interest. There is almost no option to see any modern living room items, but they do have some modern dining options. The quality is ok, but the furniture you buy here will not be heirloom pieces.

We bought our furniture in october. The lady told us she doesnt know exactly how long its going to take to get delivered. She said it could take anywhere from 1 week to 3 months. Since we really liked the furniture we took a gamble and bought it. We never got any updates on our furniture. We had to call contantly to get any information. Finally our furniture arrived mid january (later than the max 3 months promised). The guys came to deliver and assemble the furniture but we noticed there was a huge dent on the stool, a huge scratch on the leg of the bed and the drawers being srached. Now it is begining of feburary still havent heard anything. There were no phone calls giving me any updates. No phone calls for their apologies. Nothing. And to top it all off when I pointed out the damages to the delivery guys i recieved a huge attitude from them. These people have over priced furniture and the worst customer service. Dont do business with them!

My family ordered a coffee table from this company. We waited about a month for the table to arrive at the store. We were ecstatic because the wait was so long and we desperately needed a new coffee table and this one looked really nice… so we thought. We opened up the box and took out this really cheap looking mirror/​chrome stand that was SUPER damaged and scratched up. It did not look ANYTHING like the one that was set up in the store. So we called the lady who sold it to us, Aida, and she informed us that she will have her guys send a new one next day. The next day comes and one of her guys brought the table and took it out of the box. What do we see? The same mirror/​chrome stand that was STILL scratched up AND this time it came with a bonus; it was crooked. My mother and father were shocked and appalled because they had paid a lot of money for this table, so they expected a coffee table that was in good quality, just like the one we saw at the store. My mother called Aida and she would not answer the phone. After a long wait, Aida talked to my mother and said there is nothing she can do about it. My mother became upset and felt ripped off so she expressed her feelings towards Aida about the horrid coffee table. Aida was very rude to her and hung up on her! She tried calling Aida back and she told my mom that she is not going to get her money back. Aida literally told my parents that they either had to wait for a new table to arrive everyday until it comes out the way that they want it, because there is no way to get your money back. We told her that the product was defective and that her company was not complying with California Civil Code Section 1723 which states that sellers have a right to not give a full refund UNLESS the product is defective. After we told her that, she told us that tomorrow she will send us a new table and if it is damaged in the slightest bit then she will give us a full refund. So, the next day the coffee table comes in COMPLETELY DIFFERENT packaging! We opened it up and it was different, bigger, and in much better quality. It looked nice and just like the one that was set up in the store. The packaging was also in super good quality unlike the packaging from the first two orders. We figured out that Aida was so confident in the coffee table arriving in perfect quality because she knew exactly what was going on. They were sending us the cheaper version of the table we wanted to make more money. Unless you want to get ripped off and have them send you the CHEAP version of the product that you originally want then do not purchase anything from this company!!!

I went here to get furniture and all their signs say «We’re Open,» well, they weren’t open. I arrived within their stated business hours, but all doors were locked and the owner was out back having a smoke so I asked if he was open and he looked annoyed as he simply stated, «No.» Waste of a trip.

King Furniture is in a row of 3 furniture stores right next to each other. King Furniture spots some pretty good modern style furniture… though vearing a little to gaudy for my taste. They have a decent sized showroom which was very clean. The only thing I didn’t really appreciate was the two times I’ve been there the people on the floor followed me wherever I went. Good attentive service is one thing, but this was more like stalking

ALL those other comments in my opinon was a sabbatoge towards kings furniture. KIngs furniture is the best place to buy excellant quality furniture. If it does take more than expected days its because they deal with QUALITY (WHICH other STOREs have no idea about) not QUANTITY. I bought my Furniture here and everything was up to par. actually more so. the PRICES were VERY AFFORDABLE and the QUALITY is spectacular. CAN i say QUALITY enough? NOPE. YEs they are the best and yes i will stand firm about that. And as for having the «cheap stuff» yes i will admit they have a couple of them but the owner is very up front and honest about the quality of it. ITs YOUR decision. YOu do get what you pay for. THANK YOU TO KINGS FURNITURE for making my first buying experience a very good one.

Never go to this place unless you have an extra money to spend.
Way overpriced and very unprofessional stuff.
You can find the same merchandise for less online or other stores.
Just take a picture whatever you like and get it in any other place.
The way I did and saved a fortune.

Kristine is trying to compare made in china with made in Italy.
I spent over 15K in some other store just for my living room furniture and I got Italian quality furniture with real leather and real wood. Anyone walks in my house sees the quality of the furniture.
Kings furniture does not have any good quality furniture unless you spend over 10K for them to have it imported for you.
On the other hand, this was my first time being a customer with this people. I must say the service is really good. However, they delay on deliveries and don’t even answer phone calls. I end up showing up at their store every time i want to follow up with them to see what the states of my purchase delivery is.
This is not what I expected from this store and that is the main reason why i give them 2 star.

About 7 months ago we got all our home furniture from this store and I am not happy with any of them. They all have very bad quality and my couch particularly looks like it’s been used for decades. It’s all peeling and looks really bad already. The guy kept telling me that he had the same couch and had it for years and his kids keep jumping on it and nothing happens and we don’t even have anyone jumping on it and barely sit on it and it’s messed up already.
They say it’s Italian leather and it’s the best quality… BS!
