Came here on Christmas Day! Was a perfect place to go to right after Raffi’s. I love the ambiance, very tranquil, trendy, chic. Perfect place to go on date, or even catching up with friends. I really liked how our server had a good knowledge of wine, unlike different places smh. My cousin isn’t a wine drinker either and the server made her a holiday cocktail which she really enjoyed! We also ordered the tiramisu for dessert which is delicious!!! Just the right consistency and it wasn’t too sweet either. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and there’s an upstairs section as well. They also do serve food, if you want to grab a bite to eat!

We had a going away party for a friend at the upstairs loft and it was lovely. They have a good selection of wines, beers and creative cocktails. The small plates and pizzas were very tasty. We tried several. Our favorites were the jalapeño sausage with cilantro lime sauce and chips, the roasted fennel chicken sausage pizza and the chips with madzun but everything was good. They have a daily happy hour from 5−8p which is great. We didn’t stay for the music but it seemed like a nice set-up. I’ll definitely be back with more friends to try more wines and food and maybe some music.

Stopped in for the first time a couple of nights ago. Great atmosphere, my bartender was friendly, and made a good cocktail. I was only able to stay a short time that night but I will def be back. A great local, non-chain, spot.

Very intimate causal spot for good company and good vibes. We tried the wine flight(s) — great selection of reds… coming back for an all white wine experience next time. Insane selection of wine and spirits to choose from. We made it just in time for happy hour(5−8pm). This local wine bar tucked away behind BevMo! with live band music upstairs in the loft is definitely worth trying more than once… well rounded food(for all dietary needs and/or restrictions)… out door seating too… not the best for a rainy day like yesterday, yet still pretty great. We had a an amazing server(wine som), friendly staff and amazing ambiance.

LOVE this place! It’s intimate, has nightly live music, great selection of wines, yummy sangrias, superb service and tasty foods. They now have a full bar and the new owners(not so new anymore) have done a great job in bringing the place alive. I go here every chance I get. It’s my local hangout. I started going here many many years ago when it first opened then management changed and everything fell apart. I had stopped going for 2⁄3 years then decided to try again because I had missed it so much. Surprise surprise, awesome owners took over and everything is better than it ever has been. This place feels like home.

Cute little place with live music and a great selection of alcohol. On the corner of the Americana, a little hidden from the hustle and bustle. Enjoyed the Sparkling Rose wine. Food was bit pricey, but still good.

LOVELOVE this wine bar. Wine selection is fabulous, the appetizers/food super tasty and made fresh(i think?) tastes fresh :) Its just a wonderful place to hang out with friends and enjoy the breeze at night over fabulous wine and conversation. The employees/owners are always so sweet to us and very personable. One of few places in Glendale I actually enjoy going to. xoxo

This place is great. It has a nice atmosphere and our bartender, Juls, was awesome and very helpful. She helped us find a wine to drink and she was very friendly. Could not recommend this place more.

Went to the open mic last Sunday. Good talent, but the server was bitchy, unhelpful and gave me a very unfriendly look when I asked her what the top food sellers were. She also gave me attitude when she asked me if I want to run a tab and I said no. (Side note: The server attitude was night & day when I went to an open mic at a a Studio City restaurant called The Tuning Fork. Not surprised: Service, in general in Glendale, I’ve found to be sub par). But I noticed she treated other patrons with more respect and courteousness. The two other women employees I talked with downstairs were much more friendlier, one even complimented the Jimi Hendrix shirt I had on(«Cool shirt!»). The margarita pizza I had was very average & bland tasting. I could’ve gotten a better pizza a few doors down from Brand 158, or The Pie Project at the Americana! Left Coast to me means I’ve left the building and will NEVER come back! Nor will I tell anybody I know to go here! Such a shame because it’s only 5 minutes away from where I live(Murphy’s Law, right!?), and the setting is pretty chill with a nice patio off of Harvard St., and set back about 500 feet from the hustle & bustle of Brand Blvd. & the Americana across the street.

Came here on a Sunday for a friends birthday. Awesome spot with live music and open mic night. Selection of wines is located on the second floor(all glass) so you can see for yourself, pretty cool. Offers indoor and outdoor patio seating. You can park across the street for free! Staff was amazing. Food was amazing. Wine and specialty drinks were amazing. So glad we went and now know of this spot. Will be back for sure!

Oh man. What an awesome place. I came here with friends and was super excited because I looked at the menu beforehand. If a place has burrata, you go and you go fast. We sat outside and the first drink I ordered was vodka, elderflower liquer, pineapple and lemon juice, which was very very good — they make their drinks pretty strong. Then the burrata came out and I devoured it. It came with toasted baguettes, olive oil soaked tomatoes and prosciutto, and all those things combined in my mouth were absolutely fantastic. I could have easily ate another order — I wish it had been a never-ending plate. I highly recommend ordering this small plate and not sharing it because it’s just too good to share with anyone else. The second drink I ordered was the Tijuana Jane which is comprised of tequila, strawberries and jalapenos — again, made strongly, and perfectly spicy and sweet, it definitely had a kick to it, so if you like spicy drinks, this is your best bet. They also have wine but who needs to drink wine when there are delicious and unique cocktails? They have a cocktail that is lit on fire… so. again, why bother with the wine? Definitely coming back.

My favorite wine bar! The owners are extremely friendly and the waiters/waitresses are attentive. You can either sit downstairs and enjoy their large selection of wine or you can sit upstairs and enjoy the live music up close. It’s a cozy wine bar, much different than anything else around. We always order a few glasses of different wines to taste and a cheese plate. I usually get a sweeter white wine, and my boyfriends always gets a red wine. If you like suggestions from the waiters, like myself, feel free to ask, they always make the best suggestions and even let you taste the wine before making a decision. There was a guy who worked here who seemed to have a bit of an attitude, but I haven’t seen him in a long time. As grumpy as he was, he made some great suggestions.

The wife, mother in-law, and I tried this place out on Sunday afternoon. The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is because the wines were actually pretty good. The things that really need to be worked on are: 1. Dirty Wine Glasses(Spots all over the wine glasses, scratched, and just a mess) 2. Serving the wine in the wrong type of glass(The only reason I am bringing this up is hence the name Left Coast Wine Bar & Gallery) If you are going to identify as a wine bar you should know to serve wines in their proper glass type. 3. Customer Service — Lack of customer Service, our bartender had no real knowledge of the wines or he just didn’t care to engage or educate his paying customers on what and why they are serving particular wines, ex. what regions, etc… 4. Attention to detail: We ordered the cheese plate and a chacuterie plate, they forgot the chacuterie and the bartender seemed to now want to be bothered, so we didn’t even bother to ask for it again. Cheese’s were decent, but nothing out of the ordinary. In fact we saw some of their workers showed up with Trader Joe’s bags so they probably buy their cheese from Trader’s. Presentation was decent but they gave us warm French bread with butter on it for the cheese. Seems a little odd. Over all if you are at the Americana or in Downtown Glendale and would like a glass of wine, or a cocktail, + they have a full bar and the ambience is decent… Then give it a try…

Super fun, modern wine bar with excellent, friendly staff! Granted, I’m an amateur when it comes to wine selection. I loved everything I tried(which might be why I got so hammered), and the food was very tasty and presented very nicely. We came with a humongous party and sort of took over the entire upstairs area, and the staff was very accommodating with us. Can’t complain about anything! Will definitely come here again.

This place is under new management and I love it so much more! They have a good selection of wines as well as food to accompany your wines. Some nights, there is a live band playing on the second floor. There are three main areas of seating: outdoor patio, inside on the first floor, and the second floor.

(Dined 10÷21÷13 M @ 4:00pm): This wine bar left me coasting towards a calming state — but where’s the gallery?! A coworker and I returned to town after an afternoon offsite event just in time for happy hour, so I recommended the Left Coast Wine Bar & Gallery — because a glass(or two) of wine sounded nice, and I remembered they had outdoor seating to enjoy this lovely weather. We actually arrived too early so we killed some time in the nearby BevMo! until the doors opened. We casually walked across the street, parked ourselves at a tall table out on the front patio and allowed the rest of the day to sweep us away with good conversation, libations, and snacks at discounted prices. Here was how our happiest of hours went: Sangria($ 5.00 ea. HH) — This deep red elixir with minute chunks of various fruit was the perfect prescription for a warm California fall afternoon. Our bulbous glasses(two each) were filled to the rim as each sip elicited a smile and a relaxed state of being. Although the potency was minimal, the results were a resounding positive vibe.
Left Coast Pizza($ 8.99HH) — This round flatbread personal-sized pizza was drizzled with fresh herbs and olive oil, mozzarella cheese, diced tomatoes, chopped onions, pasilla peppers, and prosciutto. I enjoyed the crunchiness of the excess melted cheese that extended past the crust. The saltiness of the prosciutto somehow seemed amplified, but the rest of the ingredients aided in dampening this effect. However, I felt this was a bit overcooked as the cheese had several dark spots throughout, yet the vegetables still remained fresh and juicy. My only suggestion was to increase the size maybe one more inch in diameter. Service — Our server was a friendly attractive woman by the name of Rachelle. The place had just opened so we chose wherever we wanted to sit(outside on this beautifully warm day). She immediately greeted us with both standard and happy hour menus. We quickly placed our drink order and soon enough received them, at which time we then placed our food order, which unfortunately took longer than expected — since there were only two other small parties. We ordered a second round of drinks which again came quickly. Lastly, the check was delivered once requested. Overall, things were good. Parking — There was metered street parking along the main drag of Harvard St. Otherwise, we parked in the nearby parking structure on Maryland Ave. where the first 90 minutes are free, then $ 1.00 for every 30 minutes after that(we paid $ 3.00). Atmosphere, décor, ambience — There was a nice front outdoor patio with umbrellas and heating lamps if necessary. Inside, it was a bit narrow and tight with several tables and chairs along with stools at the bar. There was a slightly roomier upstairs lounge area with couches, chairs, tables, and paintings hung on the walls, where live entertainment occurred on a nightly basis. Generally, the walls were a dark color, and there was plenty of both electric and natural lighting. I didn’t recall any TVs nor background music. However, the street traffic can be annoying as you’re very close to the Americana on Brand. A real chill place. Attire — It was totally casual so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. Overall, Left Coast Wine Bar & Gallery was a nice wine option in Glendale as there were so few of them. They had a decent selection of wines and beers with comparable prices. Their happy hour menu was limited as well as their general food selection. I’d come back simply for a drink or two while I hung with friends and caught up. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above(total experience was around $ 35.00 before tip), and a nice place to chill with your drinks and hopefully some live music if you’re here in the evening. And, they accepted my credit card of choice… AMEX!

Left Coast Wine Bar is Glendale’s somewhat hidden gem. If not for the behemoth deemed the Americana, I think this place would get much more attention. They have great live music five nights a week, which really enhances the ambiance of this intimate wine bar. They have an amazing wine selection and great food pairings to compliment. Their beer selection isn’t too bad either! They have six beers on tap and at least 30 bottles, imported from around the world, to choose from. I highly recommend stopping in next time you are in Glendale. The wait staff ain’t too rough to look at either!
