Maple Park

Always peaceful and not too busy.
Great place for kids, a picnic, or a little workout on the fitness equipment they have.

How can I get a hold of the people in charge of the gym? Does anyone have a number? Thanks

I really hate this park. There are never any tables available. I don’t feel safe here alone with my son so I will only go to this park if my husband is with me. The grass is long and covered with garbage. I have been here a few times and I am always disappointed. Last time I was here there was so much plastic all over the grass that I couldn’t even let my son play. Don’t waste your time coming here. The playground is ok, but there is only one so big kids are running around with little toddlers… not a great idea.

Nice and artsy. I have been coming to this park since I was a teen (20 years) they have made nice improvements to the play areas and the rec center. They have tennis courts too. Parking is kinda tough it’s streets parking.

Small park but lots of grassy areas for hanging out and picnicking. Great for kids/​babies. Downside: Every time I visit there are no free tables because every old dude in the neighborhood is there playing chess or something. It’s got its own unique vibe though and is in a quiet neighborhood.
Update: they are renovating the park so it’s kind of a mess right now but looks like there will be plenty of picnic tables etc when the work is complete.
