Mrs. Marlene Oliphant performed the interior design and coordinated the remodeling of our house in 2010. The project entailed
* Completely new layout and remodel of the kitchen,
* Remodel of the master bathroom and master vanity area,
* Remodel of all upstairs closets, installation of an additional closet and built in bookcases,
* New draperies in the Dining Room, Living Room, Family Room, Master Bedroom, and window treatments in the Kitchen, new bedspreads, etc.,
* Refinishing of antique furniture,
* New carpeting throughout,
* Painting throughout,
* Miscellaneous updates throughout the house.
Marlene was instrumental in the selection of the kitchen layout, cabinetry, counters, appliances, and color schemes. We used the contractors and vendors that Marlene recommended. We were very pleased with the contractors and vendors that Marlene chose. The workmanship was excellent, the price was reasonable, and they were reliable.
Additionally, Marlene helped us again in 2014 in selecting new furniture for the living room and den, as well as selecting paint colors for various rooms.
Marlene is extremely well organized, knowledgeable, and made the remodeling proceed quickly and without significant glitches. Marlene had creative ideas that would not have occurred to us, plus she has a great color sense. We are very pleased with the result.
