A spicy lover’s paradise! My boyfriend wanted to make chili and he heard a recommendation from a friend to use actual capsaicin drops to make it spicier. Lo and behold — this place actually had capsaicin bottles to buy. I recommend this place if you love peppers and all things spicy.

Small place but what a wide selection! Staff was friendly and we bought five items and got one for free! Defiantly coming back again

I had no idea that this store was at Arrowhead Mall, but as I saw it I decided to go in to purchase a hot sauce that I typically get from Whole Foods/Sprouts for about 3 bucks. I figure since I was already at the mall, I’d purchase it there. I went in and saw that they had it, I took it and went to pay for it. It rang up over 9DOLLARS!!! WTF!!! Of course I wasn’t going to pay that much for hot sauce especially since Sprouts is on my way home and I can just pick it up from there. I understand if it was like 5 bucks or just a little higher in pricing but 9+ dollars is way too much. The pricing is ridiculous.

I so want to love this place, it got me into the mall for the first time in months so clearly they had me at habanero. I tried to purchase an items in Arrowhead store and was told they don’t really take Amex, which is odd as the last purchase I made there they did. They have their logo and I’m pretty sure the merchant agreement prohibits this kind of selective request by staff for me to use other payment options. I left without buying anything. I’m now not just a casual unhappy person but one that collects hot sauces and have bought an embarrassingly large number of them over the past year, so enjoy the slight reduction in your transaction fees because it will take them a while to rack up my annual sauce bill in savings. Selection wise it’s pretty good but the set up is biased to their own brand items, they really don’t seem to group the sauces in any way that made sense to me, the other two stores I really like do it by heat, here it looks like grouping by company, may be vaguely alphabetical but not counting on it. Mall pricing is in effect so by the time you pay the location premium, the $ 2 bucks on avg more per bottle than their mail order store and then add sales tax it pisses me off that they wont«eat ’ the .5 or so % extra to take Amex, location location location doesn’t mean crap if your customer service doesn’t show up. Update: I mailed their head office, got a quick reply back, stating they do take Amex and the manager would follow up. Week later after manager didn’t contact me I wrote back, they set me up with a shopping cart with a $ 20 cert in it. so I am pretty happy with the head office of Pepper Palace. not so much with the locals:)

If I could I would’ve gave 1.5 stars instead. This place has A TON of salsa and hot food to try, with that being said the most horrible worst part is, the customer service. The people that own this shop need to either hire more people or hire more people that are friendly. I understand that the only one employee here has to watch every single person to make sure they don’t contaminate the chips or bottles of trying hot sauce, and that makes that one person go insane. Based on my trip there I witnessed the man that works there accuse about 3 people of touching the chips with there fingers and he yelled at them in front of everyone, like I understand he has to watch out for everyone but since he is the only one working he can’t seem to know what is going on so he starts accusing people. Not even in a quiet matter or normal voice he was very rude and wanted everyone to hear him that he means business about cleanliness but yelling and being very rude makes no one want to try anything or stay around. The people that got accused obviously looked at him very mad and upset, as they left they were very upset that he did that. People don’t want to go to a place that makes them feel wrong or uncomfortable for looking or wanting to try something. Since it’s new this place should improve like the other locations here in the valley. Unfortunately I can’t really say what they all have since we left after hearing people being accused and seeing how the employee did not want to help with anything really.
