Its ok… last time here they were renovating and serving buffet at same time. Dust and food… not good. This time it was ok… ive had worse.

We ate at the Iron Skillet and I cannot recommend it. The service was good but the fold food was awful. I paid $ 10 to eat maybe six bites of food before I gave up. It was six bites too many.

I eat at Peteo’s regularly across the country and have usually found them exceptional. This was the exception.
First off we had arrived as they were tearing down the buffet so ordering from the menu was a requirement. After setting for about 10 minutes watching the waitress walk around and stare into space. I retrieved menus ourselves. I then asked the waitress if she needed me to write the order on her pad and turn it in. She got the idea and finally took our order.
Wife had the chicken fried steak which was good. I had the beef stroganoff which was cold and had a red sauce. Not a mushroom and cre wine sauce like you would expect. It was horrible. Fed it to the dog then worried if I poisoned him. He survived. I
Figured would give it another chance with breakfast. The over medium eggs had clear liquid (quite a bit) running from the eggs when cut. Not white but clear. This place is unsafe.
This one is on the no stop list.

Middle of nowhere but they got Dinkins dough and coffee yes! The Iron skillet speaks for itself. Best buffet food on the highway if it’s value and quality you are looking for.

Told the waitress after waiting for her 5 minute conversation to end with a co-​worker that I was in a hurry. After taking my ordered she continued her conversation with the same co-​worker then processed to give my order to her to turn in. Prices exceeds what coffee should run, two simple breakfasts & two cups of coffee $ 20.

One of the best and most clean Iron Skills I have ever been to. Great parking for trucks and well lit up for safety.
