Parking is limited for they share a small lot with four other different businesses. Seating inside is limited as well. If you come during the lunch rush, you might not find a seat. As for the poke, it was just okay. I felt like there was an extra charge for everything. At other poke places I’ve been to the toppings are unlimited and free. Didn’t like how green onions are considered a topping out of the three«free» toppings. You were also limited to one sauce as well. Unless you pay extra. Overall it wasn’t the most delicious poke place. But it’s also not the worst either.

I found this place through Unilocal and wanted to give it a try. I definitely had expected it to be WAYBETTER, but it was ok. I went on a Saturday for lunch. Since they are located at a tiny shopping center they basically have 0 parking, and forget about street parking because it’s such a busy street that if you do get a parking spot it will be a miracle. After 20 minutes of circling around finally parked. They give you a choice of rice then choice of 2 meat, and toppings. I asked if I can have a little bit more sesame seeds they said it will be 75 cents more lol which I didnt care but thought it was funny. The dish was good, I got spicy tuna and Salmon with avocado and sesame seeds. There were 9 people sitting down in the restaurant and since the place is so tiny we had to take it to go. Over all it was an ok experience.

I’ve had this place in my bookmarks for a while now and we finally decided to go and try it out. I like how the place is like chipotle cause it just makes everything easier. I got a sushi bowl which is rice, 2 fish(salmon and tuna), crab, 3 toppings(pineapple, seaweed salad, and green onion), ginger/wasabi, and sauce(eel sauce). They were all so amazing together(is skip on the crab next time)! It was so random that I got the pineapple but there wasn’t anything else that I wanted. The only thing that sucked was that they don’t give out the samples for the fish. Like not even a little piece. I would love to try out something new next time I go but I don’t wanna end up getting something that’s nasty.

OMGOMGYUMMMMM!!! My favorite lunch spot! I freaking love this place!!! Great yummy food thats healthy and fast! Poke is becoming my favorite thing ever! Staff are always friendly and the fish is always fresh — Very clean and good quality. Wouldn’t say its the best location to sit down and enjoy your food — Its located in a little strip mall but its perfect for to go and its fast enough where you can get a relaxing and delicious lunch hour in your day:)

I love Poke N Roll, it’s among the few decent places I would go back to for poke bowls. They may be a bit pricier than most places but I guess it’s the quality and quantity that you pay for so that should always be okay. I love the wide array of choices from the«fish» to the«toppings». I think I’ve gone here twice and always left with a happy tummy lol! and btw, I’m a funko fan too so I guess having them on display made the vibe a whole lot cooler for me ;)

Delicious!!! The staff is helpful especially if it’s your first time. The fish is yummy and the portion is great. I got spicy tuna and salmon with a Brian rice base. Crabmeat, avocado, pineapple, and cucumber. I can’t remember what sauce I got but it wasn’t spicy, almost like a teriyaki. I didn’t love the boxes instead of bowls but still good and keeps it fresh.

For those who say this pokè place is good… I have no words for you. This place serves raw fish on top of warm rice… Why?! You should never do that. They call this place a «pokè» place but just putting raw fish on top of warm rice doesn’t make it a poke. They don’t put any sauce or veggies on the fish. Try pokè bar, wikipoki and pokènometry. Those places have real pokè

This poke location is just okay. Wish they had a better selection of toppings. But the fish is fresh, which is a plus. A bit pricey for what they offer. The fish is NOT mixed with the sauce like in other locations, a bit disappointed that they do not do it. Not much of room to sit down and enjoy. …hopefully when u get here u are prepared to take it to go.

So yummy! They took the extra time to custom make my poke dish plus my dad got his he loved it:) Cute small restaurant:) Their spicy mayo is one of a kind taste so delicious with a mild spice or they have an extra spicy one! Rice and fish were fresh and tasted yummy!

This was my first time trying a poke bar style place, so my disclaimer is, as far as poke goes, I’m a super novice lol. That being said, this place was great!!! The restaurant is tucked away in a little strip mall/shopping plaza with not a whole lot of parking. It wasn’t an issue for us today but I can see how that could be hard during peak hours. Anyway, staff were super friendly and helpful, especially after we let them know it was our first time. Here’s what we ordered: My Bf: white rice, salmon, yellow tail, complimentary scoop of crabmeat, corn, avacado, gobo, spicy mayo, wasabi, sesame seeds and ginger. Me: white rice, spicy salmon, spicy tuna, the scoop of crabmeat, crispy onions, green onions, seaweed salad, spicy mayo, garlic cream sauce(which is free if u check in!!!), wasabi, and ginger. **note, most of these are considered customer favorites** We also opted to try their pork gyoza and chicken karage(sp?). Annddd… everything was delicious! I really liked my poke combo better but my bf’s was good too! The fish was super fresh, buttery, and cut into large portions. The prices were also pretty legit especially given the portion sizes and quality of food. We were in foodie heaven! I highly recommend giving this poke bar a shot… i know we will be back for sure!

I recently got into the poke craze so after seeing this place in town I decided to give it a try. The service staff was very friendly and the food was very fresh and tasty. I also appreciate how they box up the orders making it very convenient for take out or leftovers. My only downsides are that there’s not a lot of seating in the restaurant since it’s very small, and the parking situation is a nightmare. Unless you go right when they open on a weekday it’s near impossible to find a spot either in the small lot that services the plaza or on the surrounding streets. Sometimes if the place is busy it can be hard to hear when you’re ordering too, and the staff does tend to rush you through the line, even if you’re the only one in line. But if you can find a place to park and you’re okay with getting it to go if the restaurant is full, I highly recommend this place! Edit: I’ve come here a couple more times since my initial review and I’ve had great experiences and delicious food each time so I decided to boost it from 4 to 5 star. I find myself coming here a lot when I’m in the area, it’s that good. Keep up the great work guys!

I had heard a lot about this place, and given the fact that I’m a big poke lover I decided to give it a try yesterday. The location is convenient since I work in Glendale also, and Poke N Roll is pretty much located in the heart of Glendale. It is in a small shopping center. So if you don’t have good parking karma look on the small cross street which Vine. As I walked in I got the feel of chipotle. It is basically the same concept: you choose between white rice, brown rice, salad, or half & half. Then you choose two fish such as tuna, spicy tuna, salmon, etc. You also have the option of getting a scoop of imitation crab for free. Then you pick three toppings such as corn, seaweed salad, avocado, sprouts, jalapeño, etc. At last you pick your sauce; soy sauce, spicy mayo, ponzu, etc. I decided to go with brown rice, tuna and salmon, seaweed salad, corn, avocado, ginger and sprouts. And for my sauce I got the ponzu sauce and added sesame seeds at the very end. The restaurant itself is very small. They have one long table at the center with stools. So don’t expect to have any personal space. The workers were very helpful and attentive. It’s safe to say that Poke N Roll quickly became one of my go to spots. Can’t wait to go back!

This place is just okay. The parking situation is a bit difficult– it’s located in a small plaza a few blocks from the mall. There is rarely any parking available and depending on what time you stop by, there is also very little street parking available as well. I came in the evening after work(7ish) and couldn’t find parking. It was crowded inside when I came in– there was not a lot of space between a table and the counter area where you ordered so there was a lot of excuse me’s as people were ordering and passing through. It was also difficult to order through the large glass screen blocking the customer from the person making the poke bowl behind the counter. There were a few moments when I couldn’t hear what the guy was saying and vice versa. They don’t have a system like most poke places where there’s an option for a small/medium and a large– it’s just a choice of 2 fish and I suppose you can always add more for an additional charge. Speaking of which, they are really big on charging for extras that are usually included at other poke places I’ve been to. It seemed like a majority of the items were an extra charge. Kind of ridiculous since the price was pretty expensive to begin with! They also charged me extra for avocados when I told them I didn’t want it when I heard it was an extra charge. I was so hangry when placing the order and flabbergasted that they charged extra for so many things that I was over it by the time I was at the cash register to pay– my bad, I should have checked to see what else they charged me for. They also regardless of whether you eat in or take out have cumbersome takeout boxes that have large flaps that get in the way when you are trying to eat. Perhaps they should use the typical plastic bowls most poke places have? Probably won’t be coming back, there are plenty of other poke places in the area that have better value for the money. Not impressed.

This is my office’s go-to Poke place and also my first experience with non-Bear Flag poke! I’ve tried a couple of different combinations here now but I usually go for Spicy Tuna and the other is a wildcard. I like that Poke N Roll has cooked fish options. I’ve had the cooked collar and it was pretty tasty. I personally always get ponzu on the side because I find that poke bowls like these can get a little overdressed/too salty. Free avocado and imitation crab is always a plus. We always order online and pick it up which is super convenient. However, the parking lot is a cluster so fair warning!

This review is more like 3.5 stars. Not my favorite poke place, but decent none of the less. The two reasons why this place isn’t getting a 4 or 5 star is for the following. First, they didn’t have ahi tuna on the day I came, which astounds me. Ahi tuna is a standard at any poke place especially in Hawaii where majority of the poke uses ahi tuna as its fish. Spicy tuna is not an equivalent substitute. Second, they don’t mix the poke, sauce, and toppings for you. Poke tastes 100x better when it is mixed and everything is in awkward tiny ice cream scoops over the bed of rice. If you’re eating your meal for here, they should mix it for you. If you order to go then they should separate everything so the fish and rice don’t get soggy from sauce. Ordering style is like Pokinometry and Spinfish. So basically Chipotle x poke. 1. Pick between rice bowl, salad, or sushi roll. I opted for bowl, but they serve it in a box, which is a little awkward to eat out of. 2. Choose two fish. I picked salmon and yellowtail since there was no ahi tuna. Besides that, the selection is a lot bigger than Spinfish and Pokinometry in terms of variety such as salmon skin and shrimp. An extra scoop is $ 2.50 3. Choose three toppings and extra toppings are $ 0.60 per topping. Felt slightly ripped off here since other places have unlimited toppings. However, I liked how they didn’t charge extra for avocado like Poke Salad Bar in Pasadena. 4. Pick your sauce. Get the wasabi mayo. Seriously this is one of the best wasabi mayo sauces I have ever had. It gives the wasabi mayo poke that I had in Kauai at the Koloa Fish Market a good run for its money. Service was nice and friendly. The restaurant itself is very casual and no frills. There are some wooden seats and chairs along with bar seating. The TV was playing Kpop music videos when I was there. Location is on Brand right pass the Glendale Galleria and the Americana @ Brand. They’re located in a small shopping plaza. Parkin was free, although there weren’t many parking spots in the plaza.

Poke N Roll was better than expected. yay! It’s like a chipotle salad bowl version of Japanese food. Small parking lot in front with few spots(shared plaza with Ramen R101 and a few other restaurants). We had to find street parking which was scarce; ended up taking it to go. 1) CHOOSE A BASE $ 10.15 + White Rice + Brown Rice + Salad + Half & Half + Roll($ 12.15) 2) PICK2FISH(Extra are $ 2 each) ==Cold Fish Options== + Salmon + Spicy Salmon + Tuna + Spicy Tuna + Albacore + Yellowtail + Scallop + Shrimp + Octopus + Imitation Crab(1 free scoop) ==Hot Fish Options== + Salmon Skin + Crawfish + Unagi + Shrimp Tempura [2 pc] + Salmon Tempura [3 pc] + Salmon Collar 3) PICK3TOPPINGS(Extra are $ 0.69 each) There are too many to list: P Please see attached photos for menu. 4) CHOOSE1SAUCE + Spicy Poke + Soy Mustard + Wasabi Mayo + Yuzu Soy + Spicy Mayo + Hot & Spicy + Ponzu + Eel sauce What I ordered: Half & half of white rice and salad. I chose salmon and tuna for my fish. For toppings, I got green onions, sprouts and avocado(no extra charge yay!) Sauce I chose Ponzu. Conclusion: The fish was definitely fresh! No fishy taste :) This is most important for me in terms of a good poke bowl(or any sushi/sashimi for that matter). The salad was just OK — romaine lettuce type deal. The toppings were a nice touch — I always enjoy adding avocado and it’s rare that they don’t charge you an extra $ 1 for it. Green onions were a nice addition, but the sprouts were a little bit on the bitter side. Ponzu sauce actually was perfect when added to the wasabi for dipping the fish into! Yummy meal and I was actually pretty full. Total cost was $ 11, not bad at all. I’ll be coming back! Poke N Roll is delicious, much better than its sister restaurant next door Ramen R101.

Let me tell you, as someone from Hawaii, I am very picky about my poke. In fact, I’ve been known to drive quite far distances for some yummy poke! Thank goodness Poke N Roll is only a quick drive away from my apartment. Like the other Chipotle-style places, you choose your base, your protein, toppings, and sauce. I had the salmon(which was not marinated already), but it comes with a sauce of your choice to season it. A big selling point here is their variety of «cold» and«hot» dishes. While other Chipotle-poke places generally has only cold fish, this place has hot dishes like tempura, unagi, etc. I also really appreciate the extra sides you can buy — the chicken karaage was super yummy! Portion size was perfect for the price. The fish was fresh and I appreciated the variety of toppings as well! Will definitely be back again. PS — Comes with a free scoop of imitation crab. Yum! PPS — Not that many stalls in this small shopping complex and technically, the entrance is one-way. I totally made the mistake of entering through the exit.

VERY generous with their fish! My order: brown rice pick 2: salmon, tuna, & yellow tail(3rd choice extra $ 2) pick 3: avocado, seaweed salad, sprouts, & smelt eggs(4th choice extra 69cents) sauce: spicy mayo(check-in & get it free) added: furikake & sesame seeds Free water cups on the side across the register. First thing I noticed coming in were the funko vinyl pops & Polaroids as their decorations! They greeted hello & welcome, service was fast, just felt a bit rushed without asking if that’s was all I wanted after each step. Take it to go or eat inside, but they’ll still put it in a box. The difficult part about dining in were that the flaps of the box kept going up & wouldn’t fold down while eating. Overall a pretty large portion, the vibe is different with the workers. They’re very quiet amongst each other, but it shows they’re working. I’d go back just for a fast food service & large fish portions!

At my old job, my co-workers and I would frequent this poke place for lunch. Since starting a new job in Glendale, I thought I would relive those poke lunches, but by myself. I scoped this place out and prepared myself for the myriad of decisions I would have to make. From the pictures ~$ 9 was pricey for poke, but it was only slightly more than what my friends and I used to pay. I made my way here for lunch one day and it was actually $ 10. I got the salad with spicy salmon, yellowtail, crab(free), seaweed salad with ponzu sauce. The portions were not as generous as what I am used to. It SEEMS like they use full size ice cream scoops for some things and smaller ice cream scoops for other items. Next step, there are SOMANYTOPPINGCHOICES. I thought I had prepped well enough before getting there, but I still stumbled when I got there. The salad is a romaine mix which I found difficult to eat because I would try to pick up my perfect bite with chopsticks and the hard romaine would pop out or take up too much chopstick space that the fish would slip out from around it. Also, ponzu doesn’t stick to romaine very well. I miss the other poke place, but I guess this place will do to satiate mad poke cravings.

This place surprised me! Not the best I’ve had, but definitely somewhere I’d return to. Lots of fish options, loved that the spicy fish options did not contain mayo, and the portions were pretty big. The only negative was that the salad was a little wilted and brown on the edges, but maybe that’s because I got served the bottom of the tray. Also, everything was a little salty for me, I definitely did not need the extra sauce they gave. So glad there’s now poke in Glendale!
