Sally Knits is an old fashioned (in a good way) yarn store. The lady running the store (is she really Sally? I don’t know) was lovely and very friendly and helpful. The selection is different than most of the other yarn stores and covers a lower price point of goods. There are some real winners though in that Sally knows her yarns and carries Taki cotton (the best and most reasonable) along with a nice selection of sock yarns. No charge, cash and check only.
Well worth the visit, and the place to go to buy an afghan project.
