I cannot give these guys enough props. Ashley and Steph were not only patient and helpful, but made the process fun! Truly the kind of people you want to work with. And I also must mention, they stayed over an hour after close just to help us and ensure we would be able to leave with our new phones that night! I finally did it, after 10 years, I switched from AT&T to Sprint. I also switched from a Blackberry to an Evo. I had been waiting for my contract to expire to make the switch. So, I went to Sprint on the day that my contract expired. I walked in and was immediately greeted by Shavonda. I told her what I wanted, and after talking to me and finding out what I wanted, she informed me that although my contract expired that day, I very likely would have to wait until midnight in order to make the switch or I would get charged an early termination fee. She said that she had seen it happen quite a few times and wanted to make sure that it did not happen to me. I was not aware of that, and was very grateful to her for informing me. She even went as far as to call one of her friends who works at AT&T to see if I would have to wait until midnight. Her friend said that I would be better off waiting, just to be sure. I was going out of town the next day and there was no way that I could return to switch the service over. So, I asked if there was any way that I could get the phone that day and switch the number over the next day without returning to the store. I bought the phone and a bunch of accessories, and had to set up an account with a new phone number. Shavonda told me that all I had to do is call back the next day and she would walk me through switching the service over. She said that all I needed was my AT&T account number. Well, good thing I waited that extra day because when I went to look up my account number, I realized that I was wrong in the date that I thought my contract expired, and it did not in fact expire until the next day. So, I called Shavonda two days after I bought the phone. The first time I called, she was not available because she was with a customer. So, I asked the person who answered the phone if he could help me. He said that I would have to return to the store because my service and phone number could not be switched over otherwise. I said that I would call back when Shavonda was available. She successfully walked me through the switching over process. It was such a refreshing experience to deal with somebody who was very knowledgeable about her job and the products and services. It was even more refreshing to deal with a person who was looking out for me, the customer. Shavonda provided EXCELLENT customer service. Thanks Shavonda!
