We stayed at the Suites at North Shore for 10 days in late August 2015 while our home was undergoing renovations. We stayed in a one-bed, ground level suite near the fire pit. Overall, our stay was very pleasant. The staff were incredibly nice, especially the breakfast and dinner staff. Although there were some minor items that seemed slightly worn, the suite was in great shape, clean and well cared for. Ultimately, it looked less lived in than our regular living space. Also, we have a cat which we brought along, meaning we stayed in one of the pet friendly suites. Despite that, there was no evidence of any previous pet occupancy. The amenities made our time at the Suites feel more like a vacation than a relocation, with the pool, fire pit and more. The food was very good and helped to make the Suites even more homelike and inviting.

Pleasant for an extended stay. Nice and courteous staff. The breakfast selection is Ok and the evening reception is better than expected. Cathy, the evening attendant rocks! I’m glad they also offer a veggie burger option in the evening. Since we had a cat, they gave us a «4 legged guest» magnet for the door. Structure is not quite soundproof but overall good and memorable stay.

So disappointed with the experience I had at this facility. I had a party of 4 and we stayed in one of their 2 bedroom suites. A friend of mine stayed there also… he had a party of 3(he too stayed in one of their 2 bedroom suites). We stayed there 4 nights(was there as a family getaway for my daughter’s birthday). Do not let the pictures fool you that are online. Apparently they used the pictures from when it was previously The Residence Inn(purchased the beginning of 2015 so now it’s under a new name and management). This is just some of the issues I had(I stress SOME…): The fabric sofa and chair was ripped and filthy(pictures to show). Constant leak from the bottom of the refrigerator. Balcony doors are not secure and fell off track, yet I had to wait until the next day because housekeeping and maintenance leaves everyday at 2pm(which I do not understand because if check-in is at 3pm and someone checks in and have a problem from the start, why should they have to wait until the next day to have the problem rectified!!!). Cookware and refrigerator provided was filthy… not to mention that there was grease drippings from the ceiling and wall near the stove. The toilet paper holder fell off its mount when attempting to tear tissue from it. The General Manager, Sara, seemed to not really care about the issues when it was mentioned to her(Operational Manager, Mayshala, was more pleasant and apologetic). My friend’s room had an issue with the A/C(mind you that when we stayed there it was in July and the weather was in the 90s… oh, but because maintenance leaves at 2pm, we had to wait until the next day!!! And it wasn’t even resolved then!). My room was infested with ants so they sent someone from housekeeping to exterminate. There were stains and patch work throughout the rooms. Outside of the rooms(the entry of the suite) it was filthy and all of the doors at the facilities need a paint job. Consider yourself warned. This is unless you can deal with issues such as what I mentioned above. If so… go at it. :-)
