I came to this place for many years when it was owned by the previous person but since the new management came in this place has really declined in service. Customer service is horrible. I asked one time the manager on site that my laundry did not dry and she argued with me that I was wrong and I pressed the wrong button. Instead of being understanding and actually putting her customer service skills she argued that her brother was the owner and I was wrong. I will never return to this place. Wish the previous owner could buy this place back because I came to the place for nearly 2 decades. Such a shame but if u need your laundry and a clean friendly place. Go to alameda and victory

I just moved to the Glendale area and decided to try out Thrifty wash after reading the good reviews about it as regards cleanliness, new machines and not being crowded. My experience this past Sunday was quite different, however. While I have no complaint about cleanliness, a few of the machines were out of order and there were too many people, so it actually felt quite crowded. Trying to get out of there as quickly as possible I left an item behind in the dryer. I left a little past 9 pm on Sunday(the laundromat closes at 9:30). As soon as I arrived at home, I immediately noticed that I had forgotten something and called the number listed on Unilocal.I was able to reach someone, but was told that they could not set my item aside and that I needed to go to the laundromat in the morning to claim it as it would probably still be there. I followed the instruction and went to the laundromat to find no attendant at all. I called the management once more and was told to come back in the evening as I had just missed the attendant. So I came back in the evening and did find an attendant, who spoke zero English and understood none of what I was trying to communicate to him. With the Spanish that I do know, I explained the situation and he called the attendant who was there the day before, but was unable to explain the situation or understand the other person on the phone. I then spoke with the Sunday attendant myself and explained what I had forgotten and asked whether he had found it. He replied yes and asked me to wait for him for approximately 15 minutes and he would return my forgotten item to me. 25 minutes later the Sunday attendant was still not there and the attendant who was present called him once more to follow up on his ETA. We were, once more, told that he is on his way. 40 minutes later, we followed up again and he was STIll on this way. He finally showed up ONEHOURLATER and did not know what I was talking about despite the fact that I specifically described to him what I had left behind and he told me he had found it and set it aside. The two attendants then gave me the«we are not responsible» speech, pointing at the sign on top of the machines, stating same. Yes, I completely understand, but why lie to me, give me the run around and make me wait for more than an hour!!! Needless to say, I will never return there. I was given the run around by the management, by the attendants, and was unable to retrieve the item I had left behind, losing about 2 hours of my time in the process between the two telephone calls with the manager, two visits to the laundromat, and an hour of wait. Very disappointing!

this used to be my go to for my laundry needs but unfortunately, i have found a replacement that one ups this place. however, i did want to share my experience of this place. –usually roomy except on busier days like the weekends –usually fairly clean –usually plenty of areas to sit –two choices of washing machines to choose from –every once in awhile you have to deal with creepy people & avoid friday evenings if you want to avoid being hit on! –plentiful parking(just avoid coming during lunch hours since the restaurants nearby cause the parking lot to be filler than usual) –no light in their bathroom D: i would comment on my experience with management(which is very good by the way) but this place is under new management and i have not had any encounters with them so i have no say in that.

Overall, this place is four stars. Here’s the breakdown. Cleanliness — I’ve been here several times and overall it’s pretty clean. This place was renovated a couple years ago so the machines are newer as are the countertops. I’ve never used the bathroom though so enter at your own risk lol. Cost — The small machines are $ 1.50 while the mid size are $ 3. This place also has the king size washers for $ 4.50. Dryers are 25 cents for ten minutes… it’s not the cheapest laundromat around, but I figure a couple quarters shouldn’t make or break you though. Extras — Two flat screen tv’s are always on… There’s a couple video games to help pass the time… This place can get crowded. I usually come midweek to avoid waiting for a dryer to free up. …Last wash is at 9pm.

I’m pretty sure this place is now under new management because it’s clean, machines look new and I often see an employee there tidying up the place. They have flat-screens so just the other day I was washing my Lakers gear during the Lakers game. I would say this is the best Glendale Laundromat around. Just an all around good clean vibe.

I used to love this place, but my attitude has changed over time. Thrifty Wash sure is thrifty. The place is constantly dirty, too many machines are always broken and never seem to be fixed. I’ve had too many faulty machines that I just don’t want to go here anymore.
