Non-fat latte to go, so I can’t speak much about the full experience of the café, but the coffee was tasty! It was the morning and it smelled lovely inside with all the fresh pastries and food. It seems quite with lots of chairs and tables for hanging out and getting work done. I may consider going to study here in the future. I’m glad I was finally able to try the coffee here, and I was satisfied. Good job, Urartu!

Very nice lady running the shop. We got the omelette with ham and spinach on a croissant, really great quick breakfast. We had the English breakfast tea with milk and sugar so can’t comment on the coffee.

This place is my favorite spot in Glendale! Its a great place for studying, not too loud, not too crowded even in the middle of a weekday and people are considerate of each other. The shop itself is pretty clean, the furniture is placed to show depth and reminds me of the cozy home my grandparents used to own. The owners are incredibly down to earth, you walk in feeling very welcomed. The coffee is always great and pastries are always fresh! The sandwiches are really good, and smoothies are made with fresh fruit. If you either want to try a place for some brunch, lunch or just to chill and study. Urartu is Glendale’s #1 go-to!

I decided to give this place this past weekend. It had pretty good reviews so I was excited to try it. I was not too impressed. The service was great, but the arrangement of the coffee shop felt awkward and overcrowded with mismatched furniture. I got an iced hot chocolate made from powder that was a bit too watered down for my taste. My orange cranberry scone was a bit stale. At first, I thought it was just what I had chosen to order in particular that left a bad first impression, but the other friends who I went with agreed. Although I think they liked the coffee. I probably won’t be coming here again and will stick to Portos aka my absolute favorite place in Glendale.

Not a big fan of iced coffee but it’s pretty good here! It has a good spiced sort of flavor, although not the smoothest. The service here was great, the owner is so friendly! I like that about coffee places, they need that personal customer service touch… even though I know I’m just there to order a cup of coffee, it kind of makes it more special. There is a parking structure nearby with like(I think) 2 hour free parking. The coffee shop is small but cozy place. I thought it was pretty neat that they have desktop computers and printers available for use, like a library that serves coffee!

Incredibly friendly and cozy place. The barista greeted me with a big smile, and struck up a nice conversation when taking my order. In my two hours of sitting in the shop, baristas’ positive attitude were contagious and were consistent for all their customers. These people gave me a welcoming feeling. The latte that I ordered was pleasantly aromatic and delightful to drink. The music here was soft, so I didn’t have to wear earphones to stay focused. This was a great place to read and study and I had a great time.

Cute little mom and pop’s coffee shop in the Maryland strip of shops. Has a small area to relax on sofas and a couple of tables to do homework.

Came here to get some work done and to get away from the over crowded hipster-ish coffee shops in the Silver Lake/Echo Park area. It has a quiet and relaxed atmosphere, the coffee was a little sweet but delicious and I was able to get a lot done :) definitely coming back when I have a bunch of work to get done in the future.

Yummy smoothies! I can’t wait to go back and explore the menu more. The owner was very kind, I asked if I could hold my tutoring sessions the wonderful café, and he was so helpful and considerate. I definitely recommend coming here.

Just like many reviews say, this place is in a great location. Tucked away on a quiet street, it’s easy to miss if you’re not looking! We went for coffee and breakfast and the owner was so kind. We ordered an omelet and he even split it for us so we could each have our own plates! The coffee was delicious and the décor was comfortable. We parked in the garage right next store and it was free for the first 90 min. Will definitely go back next time I’m in Glendale!

I came to Urartu with my sister to help her focus on writing her paper. Immediately walking in I felt comfortable being there, very friendly vibes. They had some computers and a printer on one wall for those who needed it. My sister and I brought our own laptops and there were accessible outlets. The coffees are great(they have Armenian coffee of course) and the staff was very friendly. I would recommend this place for studying or just for a relaxing chat spot with a friend. Great place!

The man working the counter had made a funny. And when your sleepy on your way home from work, that is pretty difficult. Ordered an iced coffee and they do cash back at the counter which was super convenient if I needed to pay for parking. Coffee shop was full both indoors and outdoors, which is a good sign. Ice coffee was strong, too. When you see a chef sign holding a sign that says, «I am not a mermaid and this is not starbucks» I think you have stumbled upon the right coffee shop. Want to return for snacks and green juice.

Good coffee. I ordered mine iced. I think it’s in a great location. Nice and quiet place. There were a few other customers inside but also a large group of men seated outside. There’s a computer station in the corner so I’m guessing that one can pay to use it. I also didn’t attempt to log into a wifi connection so I’m not exactly sure if they have wifi. Definitely has a nice, quiet, homely feeling. The employee, maybe the owner was very nice. I parked in the garage close to it. I think I was there a little over an hour and it was about $ 6. I was in a hurry so I’m not sure if there was validation. I was notified that there is indeed free wifi and free 90 minutes validation for parking. Great to know! :-) Check out this place.

Tucked in the quiet part of the street, this Armenian WiFi café included sidewalk seating followed by a large counter and a number of small tables and couches. The occasional foot traffic and laptop dwellers here and there made the mellow place conducive for uninterrupted studying and quiet conversations. The Armenian Coffee($ 2.25) came in a tiny but powerful cup that tasted dark, weighted, and deepening to the last drop. It was a much-needed awakening for my writing session. I recommend it. The Decaf Soy Latte($ 4.50) arrived with solid espresso flavor. The consistency was smooth, but the flavor didn’t carry the taste buds very far. It was not the most striking latte I have experienced. Their plate of Fresh Fruits($ 5) was cut into various shapes and sizes nicely stacked together. The fruits were fresh, sweet, had good textures, and the quality was consistent on every visit. It was a good snack to have in between my study breaks. Service was friendly and responsive. Overall, the café was home-like and the owner was warm, friendly, and accommodating. However, my friend and I were particularly disappointed when he refused to serve a homeless person when he was looking to buy a cup of coffee. The gentleman even took out his money to show that he was able to afford it. Despite the fact that businesses in California are legally allowed to discriminate against the homeless, I also believe the owner could have demonstrated a sense of justice and compassion, and extended the same kindness and generosity experienced by his other patrons. I immediately changed my meeting location the next day. I won’t be coming back.

I love this place! I’m so happy that the Starbucks around the corner was packed. :) I’ve got seven really good reasons but I’m sure there’s more. First: The owners and staff are friendly. Second: It is very clean, including the bathroom. Third: The customers are friendly too. A man helped me figure out my Armenian Coffee(don’t drink the heavy murky grounds that are at the bottom of the cup). Fourth: The prices are reasonably. I had a Strawberry Yoplait, a banana(perfect with no brown spots), my first ever Armenian coffee and a medium hot tea(loose leaf). The total was around $ 10(I didn’t buy it all at once so I don’t know the exact amount, I also left a tip in the jar). Fifth: Everything was prepared fresh and brought to my table when I ordered so if you are looking for a quick in and out don’t come here. Sixth: They have free wifi. Seventh: My intent was to get some work done that I have not been able to concentrate on while at home and I made true progress. I’ll be back!(Arnold’s voice).
