I came here with the BFF to pick up a pair of Hello Kitty Vans and, lo an behold, I walk out with a pair of Vans with kitty cats all over them. This particular pair are part of the ASPCA label where I learned that Vans has a very special relationship with this organization. Being a crazy cat lady, and the fact that I adopted my feline baby, I had to buy them because it’s the right thing to do? The staff was super helpful so that made the experience even better. Not to mention, this was the last pair they had with my size so it was just destiny. Vans literally last forever so it’s worth the $ 55 per pair. Although I hate shoe laces, the staff member who helped us gave me some tips on tying a better knot, which did the trick! All in all, my friend and I loved our purchases and experience.

Hands down I love Vans. Always have always will ever since high school. I most often come here for my little boy. They have the best shoes that are durable & last on a 6yr olds terror of feet. They mostly have the size & style I am looking for every time. The staff is very helpful as well & are not pushy.

I buy my socks here. Pity it’s so hidden away in the far reaches of the mall. Then kids who work here are sweet and helpful.

A little back story on me. I am in my 40’s and too old to be «young and hip» but I am also not ready to start sporting black socks and sandals yet either. I had an upcoming event that took place at the park and I had nothing to wear.(I have a few threadbare shorts and sandals that my friend refers to with disgust as «Man-dals».) I went to the mall to find a fun warm weather look that I could wear to the park. I went to a number of the«cool» clothing shops and after being completely ignored by the staff, I decided to give up on finding anything but shoes. So I headed to Vans and the experience blew me away. I told a young male clerk my situation and he was just awesome. His response was, «Let’s do this!» He then spent the next 1.5 hours bringing me every shoe in my size. Other employees got involved and would give me their thoughts on the each style I tried on.(Sometimes creating heated comedic debates about which ones were better.) Once we narrowed our choices down, they found me a pair of shorts and we started to decide which shoes worked best with the shorts, etc. I have never laughed so hard or had that much fun shopping for shoes in my life. It was almost 9pm on a Saturday night and I knew that they were probably itching to get out and start their evening but they couldn’t have been nicer. At 9pm, they locked the front door and told me to «Take my time.» We continued to mix and match and try different looks. When I would ask, «Do you think I can pull this off?» One of the employees said, «It’s all attitude. With the right attitude, anyone can pull anything off.» He then looked at a pair of leopard skin socks and said, «Except these. None of us can pull this look off.» After 9:30 I made my purchase and thanked all of them, including the owner, who was also incredibly helpful.(I asked and they do not work on commission, so the extra time they all took meant a lot to me.) I have a limited knowledge of fashion and shoe stores, so I can’t comment on their inventory or if they are carrying the most current looks.(Although, they seemed to do well in both areas.) But I do know amazing customer service when I experience it. If you are looking for a place where real people want to help you, this is the place to go. It was the best shopping experience of my life and I am thankful to all the other stores that allowed me to stand completely ignored when I went into them earlier in the night because they led me right into Van’s and a great time.

Sorry, I know this is the holiday season, but get some more staff. it was about 330pm on a Wednesday afternoon –The store was clean and organized. but come to the shoe section. the entire«wait/seat/try on shoe» area was full. I could see people starring at the storage room, waiting for the ONE employee to come out with their shoes. I asked him 3 times to get me a size. He was really polite and professional, however, he would always forget, and one more customer would request for their shoe to be brought out. Tip — if you have all these people asking you for help, let them know that you are helping someone else out but offer to get an employee to help instead. I waited for about 10 more mins… and still no progress. I felt bad for the guy so I looked around for more workers. I saw one folding t-shirts by the tables. and one more at the cash register organizing, but there were no customers waiting to be rung up. I walked over to her and said«hi, i feel really bad for that one employee but he has like 5 – 6 people waiting for him and I’ve been waiting for this one shoe».she gave me a «deer in the headlight look» and finally responded with«oh. you need a size? I can help you» What the hell man. are you noob? there is a FULL ass section of people waiting for shoes. barely anyone else in the store shopping. look around beyond the register and help your fellow employee out! Where is the shift lead? WHere was the manager for god sake. I was willing to buy 3 pairs of shoes, but I left and just went to Boarders down the way.
