Had no idea that Wong and his family were the originators of Orange Flavored Chicken! Came here cause I figured I should try the original and it did not disappoint. Despite its somewhat humble exterior, I was pleasantly surprised. Be warned, bring cash — they do not take credit cards although a debit can be used with a 75cents fee.

Love this place! This is the type of place that gives you mountains of food. You’ll get 3 meals out of this. And believe it or not, yes it’s a bit greasy Chinese food but it’s not gross. And the girls that work here are the sweetest! The chicken wings are on point and you can order anything fresh if you don’t want the pre-made. They also cater.

I am really not sure what to say!!! I got the combo B and well it was an incredible amount of food!!! I am stuffed!!! I got rice and chow mien and Bbq chicken, Kung pow chicken and orange chicken! The bbq chicken was very good, but everything else was tasteless!!! It wasn’t bad, it wasn’t good!!! This is the place to go, fill yourself up and not eat for 2 days!!! Anyway the ladies behind the counter were very nice and I guess I accomplished my mission of filling up on cheap food!!!

This review is specifically for the location in Glendale, on Colorado. the sweet and sour soup is the only reason I went back here after the first time. The first time my experience wasn’t very pleasant. The customer service is horrible. I had to wait 10 mins to even be acknowledged by the women in the front and after that they were so incredibly rude. I thought maybe they were having A bad day so I decided to give them a second shot today and they were just as ignorant and rude as the first time. If I could give them NO stars, I would. Just terrible. Will not be going back.

Not the greatest but it will do! The food it self isn’t the tastiest, but the portions are huge. They fill up your plate up to where it doesn’t even close. Five stars goes to their generous serving and their Thai tea!

Favorite panda-express style Chinese restaurant. Two ladies are always nice. And the food is good for the price. The rice and chow mein portions are large also. Would definitely recommend for a quick and cheap lunch.

If you want fast, good quality Chinese Food with great customer service, this is the place to go!!! Forget Panda Express! This place will leave you wondering why you ever went to Panda Express. With extremely reasonable prices, HUGE portions and the best customer service, there is little that makes this your number 1 choice in express chinese food. The service is always exceptional and they really make you feel welcome! Give this place a chance and I guarantee you’ll be coming back! *ALSO — try the black pepper chicken, one of my favorites.

Came here on a whim after hitting up the doctor’s office. The portions are huge! I got a bowl and still couldn’t finish it. The chow mein is pretty good and I really enjoyed the Orange chicken. My fiancé got the teriyaki chicken and broccoli beef, and I stole some of the chicken(so good!). It’s juicy and moist, and the pieces are huge! We both got the Thai tea boba… very refreshing. Definitely recommend!

The best Chinese fast food in Southern California! For someone who had been raised to eat Chinese food a lot, I’m sure my judgment is worth a read. Been to a lot of Chinese food places, from the authentic ones to the non-authentic ones! I would still come back to this place! They say they don’t use MSG and sure enough the food tastes fresh and with the real flavors of the ingredients and not just masked by one flavor for all of them. I especially love their black bean fish and fried rice. I also love their teriyaki chicken because of the excellence of how they cook the chicken and most especially the sauce that comes with it. Their chow mein is way better than Panda Express’ or any other place. I like how you can order food that they will cook for you aside from the menu in the front. Don’t even think about getting their boba cause it’s not good at all. Their chicken wings are BOMBBBB too. And the Salt and Pepper Crispy Tofu is one of the best as well! Generous portions! Like what other people say! I just feel like this place is too underrated and if you guys happen to pass by Glendale, make sure you try this place out!

This shop give great portion, i think it is double the amount than others. Food quality is good, the meat are very thick sliced, rice and chow mein is fresh. A 2 combo lunch i fell like it is more than buffet, their lunch could be breakfast, lunch and dinner combine. Very good value for money for the price. Parking is great too !

Very meeeh. My boyfriend and I called in an order of vegetable chow mein, egg rolls, mixed veggies, Kung pao chicken and rice. Drive over, plenty of parking, pick it up, head home. Pricing was nice, got all that for about 23 $, portions were on the larger side. It would of been nicer if everything actually tasted good. The chow mein, chicken and rice were good, not amazing, but the veggies were super soggy, inedible, and the egg rolls were kind of cold and mushy inside. Won’t be back unless I’m nearby and craving chow mein.

The family and I like this place. Way better than Panda Express. Great prices and generous servings! Love the orange chicken. One thing they could work on is the chow mein. They use the thicker noodles which I like but the last two times they have slightly burn the bottom noodles, so it gives the rest of the noodles that smoky hint to them. It doesn’t happen all the time but just saying. Other than that it’s a great place.

I wanted to give this place a 3 just based on the food but I’m willing to give a 4 because of portions they give. They do give you a generous amount, which sometimes… all you care about is being stuffed rather than caring about the actual taste. The food here isn’t too bad but like some people said, the chow mein here tastes a bit wonky. It’s just not the typical chow mein I usually eat… And overall their food was a bit dry(mainly the noodles/rice and orange chicken) But I’m willing to come back and try again. I definitely appreciate the portion they give and the generosity so here’s my four star to you!

After all the junk and fast food on our vacation finally some good food. They have really good chinese food. Service was friendly. The portions were huge! Maybe someone can eat a whoe portion but we couldn’t. This was enough for two meals. The orange chicken was good. It was even crunchy. The black bean chicken was also very good, quality stuff. Will eat there again tonight.

I’ve driven by this restaurant countless times, and assumed the food would be too greasy or not tasty. Well I’m here to tell you not to judge a book by its cover, because Wong’s Wok churns out some quality Chinese food for very low prices. For 7 bucks you get two entreés and some very tasty rice and noodles. Service is always friendly and fast, and I can tell that the cooks are masters of their craft, because the food comes out quick and very flavourful. Honestly this place is addicting because of how large the portions are and how low the prices are. Not somewhere you’d go on a first date but definitely my frequent spot for lunch and dinner whenever I’m in the mood for Chinese.

hands down, the best fast food Chinese anywhere! I will only eat fast food Chinese from here. The food is great and the service is so friendly! I love this place! Everything on the menu is good… I usually get the same thing whenever I go, but have tried almost everything. My favorite is the Orange chicken and the teriyaki chicken… the teriyaki chicken is so flavorful, even without the teriyaki sauce! And I have no doubt that all of the chicken there is in fact chicken. I have been skeptical at other Chinese food take outs… I ate OK China in Eagle Rock and the texture from the chicken just didn’t seem right(no shade intended)…but everything about Wong’s is legit. They also do catering and have catered two office events for my job. Great pricing! You can’t beat Wong’s…you just can’t. :)

Gosh, some people can be really mean on here. The workers here are incredibly sweet and polite. Yes, they are a little quiet, but as another person stated… they are humble. I really liked the staff that works here(I went at night), because they seemed peaceful and relaxed, and I could tell they care a lot about their customers. I got orange chicken, beef and broccoli, with half chow mein and half fried rice. I must say that adding hot sauce brings the flavor up many notches. I felt the orange chicken tasted a little too sweet and a little bland without it, but tasted amazing with it. You can tell they use high quality breast meat for their orange chicken. I actually liked the beef and broccoli more than the orange chicken, which is a first for me. The sauce on it was incredibly flavorful, and the broccoli tasted very fresh. This was the best tasting beef and broccoli I have ever had(which is saying a lot). I only wish they would put more beef in it, and less broccoli. They give HUGE portions. I divided my dinner plate into 3 meals, and my boyfriend divided his into 2 meals(and he eats A LOT)! I also got a Thai Iced Tea with boba(for only 2.75! The cheapest I’ve ever found!) and the boba was very soft and the thai iced tea was made just right. Also, I don’t know why so many people are complaining about the .75 debit fee charge… It costs small businesses a lot of money to ring someone up via credit(.75 is probably how much it costs Wong’s Wok per charge). So, places like this either have to charge people who use their cards a little extra, or raise the prices on all their items, hurting everyone. I say the fee is justified. Anyway, I really liked this place, and will be coming again for sure. Thank you Wong’s Wok!

Pretty good fast Chinese food. A panda express alternative. I really like the black bean fish here. Very fresh & delicious sauce. The fried chicken wings with jalapeño are also really good here. The teriyaki chicken is also tasty. I don’t care for their thicker chow mein noodles or fried rice. I like to keep it simple with steamed rice to soak up all those yummy sauces from the meats. Orange chicken is decent here. Cash only unless you want to pay for the illegal charge of 75cents for credit card.

Really good Chinese food for a fair price. Everything is waiting ready to go, so the order and checkout process should be fast. «Should,» though — the past two times I’ve gone I had to wait quite a while for them to prepare the food I’d ordered. Last time I waited ten minutes for chow mein and orange chicken, which seems weird for a quick service restaurant. They are also cash only, or charge an additional 75 cents for debit card(no credit cards accepted). Like I said, good restaurant — I’ve already been 3 times in 3 weeks — but you should taper your service expectations slightly.
