A-1 Carpet Market

I was searching for carpet squares/​samples, and after trying three other places, A-​1 Carpet Market was the fourth on my list. The owners greeted me very pleasantly when I walked in, but were unfortunately out of carpet squares. Apparently they often donate them to schools and other places (which I found very charitable and kind), so after thanking them and walking back to my car, I resigned myself to continue the search. As I was checking my phone for other carpet stores, there was a sudden tapping on my car window, and the man was standing out in the rain with a sample board (a carpet square attached to a backing board with different color options beneath). He asked if it would work for what I needed, and said I could take it.
While I can’t say anything about their actual work or pricing, I was really impressed and appreciative that they would go so out of the way to help me with something that wouldn’t benefit them in the slightest. Thank you, A-​1!

Ayman at A1 gave us a price and called later after we had put money down to actually reduce the price by $ 200. They installed the carpet as scheduled and did a very nice job. We had had a bad experience just a month before at Home Depot so this was a nice surprise.

If I could give this place no star I would. My husband and I walked in to a sales lady that was NOT helpful. We described what we were looking for, and in a condescending manner said that prices would range between $ 400-​$ 500 (as if we did not have the money) and pointed us to a small display. As I look through the display she remained seated & focused playing a game on her iPad & not being helpful at all. As we walk out the lady says «that’s it?». Extremely rude and too lazy to get up from her desk to help out the only customers in the store. With this lady’s work ethic not sure how this place stays in business. Don’t waste your time coming here!!! Your money will be well spent elsewhere.

I was on the hunt for a piece of carpet as my cats were destroying their scratch tower. I figured I could find a carpet sample and repair the worn out area. I walked in here not knowing what to expect. I asked the guy at his shop if they sold 1×1 ft carpet squares for my project. The guy pointed me to a pile of carpet squares chest high. I looked through the pile for a price, therre was none. I looked at the guy and he said that these were old samples that they we trying to get rid of and they they were free, caching!!! About the store in general, they had lots and lots of carpet. I guess if you are looking for carpet this is the place to go. The staff is helpful and offer a personal experience. I would definitely come here to get my rug on.
