Big Dan’s Donuts

Wow, the owner sure can turn around anyone’s day! I ordered the cronut and a tiger tail with a medium cup of joe (donut shops always seem to have the best coffee and this one proves me right!) He threw in an extra donut! I was so excited. He began to have some small talk with me about how kids are back in school and I said «uhoh I hope this isn’t cash only» he said «oh do not worry about it pay me next time!» I did not want to put a burden on anyone so I went through my wallet to look for any change and I came up with three dollars (better than nothing) so now I only owe $ 2!
The donuts are extremely moist and fresh! Being that I do not want to have a sugar high, I only ate one (as one probably should). I ate the cronut. It was extremely fluffy and very warm and the glazed coating also melted right off. It seems like I came at a great time.
I can only imagine how hard it is to compete with donut man but I hope my friends and Unilocalers can give this place a true shot! Support your local businesses.

The owners are always happy and kind. I used to go every week in college and I never walked out with just one donut. They always give something extra and when you tip, they try to give you something else. Very sweet, genuine people. And the donut selection is comparable. Good drink options too. GO here when you have a bad day and you’ll walk out in heaven!

Nicest guy. I was short .95 cents and so he told me to come by later and pay. But I had the change in my car so I went out and got it. I was still .27 cents short so I’ll make it up to him. LOL
The donuts are very good and fresh. And he gave me an extra one and offered me some coffee but I had two cups at home.
So I’ll be back even tho I don’t eat many donuts and I’ll pay him that .27 cents!

They’re close to home and who doesn’t love when they throw in a donut or two for FREE!!!
Plus they have cronuts now and maple bacon bars!!!

I’m a regular here I love straight up no Bs donuts. The guy that runs the place is awesome from what I hear the owner wasn’t short of amazing the regulars are rad donuts are better than good and the coffee is fresh and not of cheap folgers quality stop in get a dozen and don’t forget to TIP. Support your local mom and pop restaurant and stores it’s our community let’s keep it the way we want with the businesses we love open.

Excellent quality donuts, always a nice treat! The owner is very friendly and always throws a n extra donut or a few donut holes in your bag. I think their donuts are hands down the best around.

The blueberry donuts were great. Other than that, the others were pretty good for a small donut spot. The owner was there and was very welcoming. He threw in an extra donut for us.
I only wish they would take card, but that seems to be standard for most mom – and-​pop donut places. There is a Wells Fargo bank and Chase atm (around the corner inside a CVS) to help with this.
Overall a good spot for our donut craving.

I come here every once in a while for the coffee and occasional donut … The owner is a very sweet guy along with his wife who runs the place … I like mom pop places like this one … Every time I order a donut the owner offers me another or he will just put it in the bag without telling me … That means I gotta spend more time working out cause I shouldn’t of ate that extra donut so I’m angry at him now … Jk. Great donuts and coffee for like $ 2 – 3 bucks.

If you like donuttery blueberry donuts then you will love their blueberry donuts. Their donuts taste so much better then donut man. I always order the blueberry donuts and donut holes. When I bring my kids, the owner is alway generous offering my daughter donut holes. Highly recommend this place over donutman.

A very solid donut. Go the maple bar and the dough was tasty and the frosting was the right amount. Good coffee

Great donuts, UNPARALLELED SERVICE!!! This morning I ordered my donuts, and pulled out my card to pay, (my total was $ 17 and change) he told me «you me pay next time, I don’t have a card machine» who even trusts like that anymore??? I’m not even a regular, I’ve been there 3 times in the past year!
Did I mention they have «croissant donuts» aka cronuts???

This place is seriously awesome. Better than many donut places I’ve been to. I do think it kicks donut man’s butt. Stumbled on this place not expecting much but I was surprised to see they had the hyped up croissant donut aka cronut. It’s buttery, croissant like but it’s very sweet and in the shape of a donut. I’ve never had it anywhere else but this one taste pretty good. Also got a maple bar and the friendly owner threw in some donut holes. Can’t wait to go back for some other good looking donuts. :)

Would you drive 30 minutes for donuts I do. I will wake up at 4am to make sure i am there by 6 am. i will buy at least 3 dozen donuts come home and gorge myself in sweet fluffy sugarness. TIGER TAILS are the best. Blueberry donuts oh my blueberry goodness Ok I know what is for sunday breakfast.
