First timer for dinner last Friday. Nice and cozy place where you sit where you like. The complimentary bread was delicious! Everyone from the greeter to the server to the upper staff were very welcoming and attentive. We tried the lasagna and the chicken parm and for the low price for such quality food, we will definitely return to explore the menu. I see they do breakfast and lunch so we have many dates planned!

The waiters were very nice and provided us with great service. The food was really good. I had a sandwich and it was delicious. Others had salads and wife had a very tasty dish that I tried. The food is really good I thought. Overall a very nice experience

The parking lot smells like sewage, still not fixed. Since it’s opened, Cosmo’s Bistro has(to some degree) won me over. The first time we went the staff was unorganized, the food rather poorly executed, and I was served still mineral water when I asked for(and the menu said) Pellegrino. The waiter didn’t speak english particularly well. I have been back several times since, and in general the aesthetic has gotten better, the food has gotten better, and I am generally more happy with it. The chicken parm sits atop a linguini that is far too spicy for a regular red sauce, but is otherwise good. The pizzas are generally very good. Their specials are hit-or-miss, special shout-out to the«cioppino» that more closely resembled a pasta with sauce than a proper soup. After a couple months, they added an arancini(fried rice ball) to their appetizer menu, and I can’t help but wonder if the chef had been to Luca Bella and had it there first… ;) Highlight: the bread before the meal is wonderful. I love it. Overall 3⁄5; good food, bumbling waitstaff, sewage smell(and flies), price a little bit too high to justify. I would go up the street to Luca Bella for a better version of this place unless you’re tied to the idea of pizza.

Enjoyed the food and patio seating. It’s nice to have an Italian bistro in town. I would recommend to anybody thinking of trying it to definitely do so. We will be back.

We were impressed enough the other night to return with a larger party. The service, again, was pleasant, the menu varied, and the food delivered all tasty and well-portioned(aside from one problem with a medium steak being served rare). Will definitely plan to return when the opportunity permits.

This was my first time at this place and first impressions are everything. First off, as soon as the front door was popped, I smelled sewer. That is not a good start. I ordered the french onion soup which on the appearance level, I give it a 7. There was no flavor to the soup aside of the natural flavor of the onions. The waiter recommended the chicken marsala so I gave it a shot. The chicken was overcooked and flavorless, and the sauce was lacking a traditional marsala flavor. My wife ordered the salmon fettuccine. Flavorless!!! Honestly, if it weren’t for the gift cert, I would have never gone and will never go in the future. Great location for a great restaurant, just not this one. The chef needs to actually eat his own food that he is putting out. Service was great though!!! Very Disappointed!!!

Went there for late breakfast on Sunday morning. Server said they no longer serve breakfast and gave us lunch menu. We got the small plates of lettuce cups and shrimp stuffed mushrooms. The lettuce cups was really tasty, leaning toward the sweet side. The shrimp stuffed mushrooms is my favorite. I love the juicy mushroom stuffed with dice shrimp and the cheesy sauce they pour it all over the plate. The sauce was so good I used the bread to mop it all up. The plate was wipe clean. After that we had the prosciutto and fig pizza. Another mouth watering dish. It look delicious and it taste super delicious. Never had fig in my pizza before. What a great idea! Such a great first impression makes me wonder how well they do for dinner. So, same day I return to the restaurant and yet another great experience. For $ 19.95 a person. We got bread(the most soft and crispy I’ve ever tasted), salad, and the main dish, paella. Huge size pan(see photo) filled with bunch of seafood, chicken and sausage. We ended the night with chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream on top. We left the restaurant so so full and satisfy. I would like to thank you our server Hugo(sorry, if I miss spell your name) for making us feel really special and giving us a great experience. And the owner, for making us Paella anyway even though he said that the«Paella on the patio Sundays» event was cancelled.

I really love this place. Everything I have eaten has been very good to outstanding. Their steak salad is fantastic and very filling as wella as their ABC Burger. We have even had dessert here which was wonderful as well. I know they are open for breakfast but I have not tried it yet but I would hope that they do breakfast just as good as dinner.

Pretty lack luster experience here. I went for a business lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the décor of the inside, especially since there outside of the restaurant is pretty run down. We sat outside and the lawn furniture tables were very very comfy. The menus were where things started going wrong. The menus are just paper, not laminated or anything, and since they are used on tables with drinks and whatnot they have become warped. They also blew away in the windy outdoor space. I ordered a Cobb salad and was underwhelmed by the ice berg lettuce and fried chicken breast which was mysteriously flavored with paprika. There were only two slices of tomato and a few slides of avocado. It just wasn’t very good. Another member of my party order an Asian salad, and another the patty melt, both of which looked much better than my Cobb… maybe I just ordered the wrong thing.

It has taken us a while to visit Cosmos. My wife’s brother is a fan and our son is too. At Christmas our son and his family gave us a gift certificate for Cosmos and we finally decided to give it a try last evening. The restaurant is fairly small, about 10 to 12 tables inside, I did not actually take the time to count. There is a small outdoor patio that on Sunday evening had a guitaritst playing and singing. Since it was still pretty warm at 6:30 and we were celebrating an anniversary we choose to dine inside where it was both cooler and a quiet. The interior is nicely decorated in a simple manner. Our waitress was a lovely and attentive young lady by the name of Kaitlyn. She was attentive but not hovering. The bread served was fresh and nicely warmed and was delivered with a mixture of olive oil and basalmic. We took our time studying the menu and finally made our choices. My wife opted for the salmon in a lemon sauce, served on mushroom risotto with fresh asparagus. The salmon had a crisp exterior while the inside was still nice and moist. The sauce was fantastic. We always sample each other’s dinner to have an idea of what is served. My dinner selection was the braised short ribs, served with garlic spinach(yum!) and mashed potatoes. Wine selection was for a bottle of pinot noir(best value is a bottle, drink a glass and a half and take the rest home). I was not familiar with any of the pinots on the wine list and Kaitlyn suggested the Paul Dolan 2012 which turned out to be a good call. Pinot is a wine that really has a wide variety and this was quite fruity, light, yet not sweet. It worked well for both the salmon and short ribs. We were comfortable with just the bread an main dish but order tiramisu for desert to go. Later in the evening my wife dived into the tiramisu and said it was fantastic. We will return.

Some of our friends wanted to go here on labor day weekend. Don’t get confused with the Kosmo’s in San Dimas on Route 66,(Note: Spelling) I ordered a Pizza w/Italian Sausage on it. This Pizza tasted very good. the other folks ordered Spaggitti and meat balls. My wife wanted dessert(extra), a Chocolate cake. Desserts and Salads are Extra(not included with meal) They had gentleman on a guitar playing outside for the people eating outside. Some of his songs reminded me of John Cougar Melloncamp. There were no smokers in the patio – Great! Only one problem: We wanted to split the check(each couple pay separately) they said ok. their Computer had problems and we waited about 20 min. to get the corrected billing. Located in front of the Time Warner office(Behind restaurant) on the North Side of Route 66, near a Subway.

After our 1st attempt 3 months ago to try this new restaurant in our neighborhood and being told they were closing early on a Saturday night(9 instead of 10) my husband and I decided to give it one more try. We also took my sister so 3 of us ordered enough dishes to get a good idea of the food. I’m puzzled by the great reviews. After mulling over our meal, this place is ok, my expectations were high. Loved the look of the aranchini, taste was ok more on the bland side. The charcuterie plate was a meh, prosciutto, regular salami, artichoke hearts, big block of cheese with marmalade style onion, roasted red pepper. Was hoping for more charcuterie. Still enjoyable, but would not order again. The Bruschetta, my sister liked the variety, the one with the pork was the weakest. My husband liked his spaghetti and meatballs, simple red sauce fresh tasting(same one used for the arrancini) I had the penne with pesto chicken etc. That was a disaster! The plate had a pool of oil at the bottom which was visible when the plate came to the table — an immediate turnoff. Throwing tons of food on a plate still does not fix inundating the food with pesto — did anyone in the kitchen just look at the plate? Finally there was a fly that would pester the table from time to time. Would I go back? Hmmm… yes to try the pizza, maybe sit outside and bring the puppies.

I really hope that I caught the staff on a bad day. Because there really wasn’t much to complement on my visit other than the remodel job on the building and that the restrooms are accessed inside the restaurant now(the old Sergios had the door outside of the building). One thing I absolutely hate is for a restaurant to leave their doors open when they’re open for business. It brings the flies inside and the day I was there they were everywhere. If I were eating on the patio I would expect them. But inside the restaurant and on my food? That’s unacceptable. On top of this, a good portion of the staff seemed more interested chit chatting and talking about things on their phones than taking care of business. Our waiter, however, did his best and was prompt with water and our food. As far as the food goes it was just OK. Nothing exceptional. Just acceptable and overpriced for what it was. I was really disappointed and really wanted to like the place. I liked what they did with the old Sergios building and had been curious to try it for awhile. Now I know. :(

Love the ambiance: Fresh, bright, clean, contemporary décor, and a wonderfully inviting patio with ceiling fans and bright fuchsia bougainvillea. High quality, delicious food: the chicken club sandwich was super tasty with garlic aioli, avocado, grilled chicken, and thick slices of bacon. The bread was excellent. I’d love to know where the buy it. It was a ciabatta that was light and crispy yet substantial. And – oh my! – the garlic fries with truffle oil are hand cut and simply the best fries I’ve ever had. And I love garlic fries, so that’s saying a lot. :-) The wait staff was very friendly and helpful also, which made for a five-star experience. My mom, sister, and cousin come here regularly and the server recognized my mom and even remembered what she ordered last time. That put a smile on mom’s face. This was my first visit but I’ll definitely be back.

It’s pretty good. We sat on the patio. They they credit and there is plenty of parking spaces. Limited indoor seating. We had a large party and they didn’t offer bread. We came for lunch. They are inflexible about the menu(I asked if we could order off the dinner menu on the back). Soda drinks are by the can. Lemonade and iced tea were great and had refills. The family all basically got either lasagna or the Alfredo(healthy portions). Pesto penne was good, the Cobb salad was good, steak salad was great, pulled pork sandwich was great. My favorite was the baked Brie appetizer.
