generally the mere mention of movers incites panic into most anyone who has ever used a moving company — why it’s so wrought with unmet expectations, subpar service, and shady business practices is beyond me, for what should be such a straightforward service. JC is the complete opposite of all that mess. they were on time, did an amazing, tidy job, were respectful and efficient, and were completely up-​front about anything cost-​related and pleasant to work with. i couldn’t recommend these guys more — they made moving day so much less stressful than anticipated.

I called JC Moving the night before I needed them. My apartment unexpectedly flooded so I had to move everything out in a hurry. They came the next morning right on time. I was not prepared but they did a great job. They shrink filmed everything and bubble wrapped whatever needed to have extra protection. I moved all my stuff from Whittier to Glendora, paid about $ 300. I would definitely recommend this company and will be using them again.

I moved under difficult circumstances — much stress, little time — and JC Movers were a godsend. Dennis and Julio were fast, efficient and cheerful while moving me on one of the two hottest days of the year. And their rates were very reasonable. I would definitely use them again!

I’d like to give negative stars; however Unilocal does not allow this. Unacceptable customer service. WORST EVER!!! I organized movers for this past Saturday, their truck blew a tire and they were not willing to send another truck to do the job. The person I spoke to gave me the run around and finally said he could attempt to send someone out that evening, but could not guarantee they would show up. WHAT?! I then asked about Sunday, but again, he could not guarantee a truck as he said they were too busy. Unbelievable. I will NEVER use their service and have told friends who have used them in the past to be aware.
