Perfect Tyme

I have known of Perfect Tyme for many years and have spoken with Scott and his wife about what I’m looking for in a grandfather clock as well as repairs numerous times. I have always been treated very well and am so happy they’re there to take care of this for me!

We love this place! The long time owners are just great. We got more than we asked for at a very reasonable price. Everyone I have referred has been very satisfied.

Very helpful! I had a clock where the glass face of it shattered into pieces. I took it into Perfect Tyme, and unfortunately they couldn’t help me. HOWEVER, the lady behind the desk did redirect me to another place that would be more likely to help me. She even picked up the phone herself & called this other place to make sure they were open so I wouldn’t be wasting any of my time. No pun intended.

I had just bought a watch that I needed to have some links taken out of, so I looked up a watch repair shop on Unilocal,and this was the closest one. When I got in, it was clearly a clock shop, so I figured maybe they specialized in clocks but could also fix watches, since watch repair was clearly listed as one of their services on Unilocal.When I asked the woman if she could take links out of my watch (not even a real repair, but just take out some links) she seemed annoyed that I had even asked, and told me to go somewhere else. Apparently this happens a lot because they are misrepresented on Unilocal.So my two star review is nothing to do with their clocks or clock repair, which I am sure they are great at. My two star review is because the woman was rude to me for something that was not my fault. It’s not her fault that Unilocal has false info about them either, which is why it’s not a one star review. So to summarize, she was rude to me for asking a simple question about a simple service. I definitely would not go back to them, even if I did have a clock that needed repair. Just rude.

This is solely based on their customer service. So a clock that i purchased online came to me via ups. On the box it was visibly labeled FRAGILE on it. Unfortunately it wasn’t handled with care. When I opened it the battery backing of the clock broke in small pieces. So when I called the company I purchased it from they were very nice but they sadly informed me this item is out of stock and can’t guarantee I would get a new one shipped just a full refund. I was heart broken because I was so in love with this clock. Mind you its a huge clock 48″ in diameter very rustic and a one of a kind piece.
Anyways I decided to keep the clock and try to repair it so I called perfect tyme left a message and Sue called me back promptly. She was so sweet on the phone. I was originally going to bring it to her and her husbands shop but the clock couldn’t fit into our car so sue spoke to her husband and they scheduled an IN-​House appointment. She was so amazing. Unfortunately I had to cancel the appointment. Good for me in the fact the company who I bought the clock from sent me another replacement clock. This one in perfect condition undamaged! :). I was so ecstatic, so I ended up returning the damaged clock back to the company.
I just wanted to take the time to tell people who read this if you do happen to go here or just deciding what clock repair business to choose I highly recommend perfect tyme for their kindness. Sue is great. They will give you a very reasonable price and go out of their way to come to you if your clock is in need of repair.

We purchased from Perfect Tyme (7÷17÷2013) a Howard Miller grandfather clock that we picked on line. Sue and Scott at Perfect Tyme were wonderful all the way through the process. They gave us a better deal than what we would have got if we purchased on line. Their deal still included free delivery to my Rancho Cucamonga address and set up. The clock was delivered with a beautiful bouquet of roses in a nice vase as a «thank you» gift within 2 weeks at the specified day time.
Sue was great in answering all our questions throughout the process since we were newbies to manual clocks. Scott was also wonderful when he delivered and installed the clock. He spent over 35 minutes doing a careful job and orienting me on its operation. They made us feel like we were their special customers. They sure won our business as long as we own the clock.
We highly recommend Perfect Tyme for their devotion to great customer service.

I had purchased a cute kitchen clock at an estate sale only to get it home and find it was not working. Took the clock in and for 19.95 a new movement was put in. Quick and friendly service for clock repair. I will definitely go back with additional clock repair work.
