Great doctor. Horrid staff. They’re way overbooked more often than not.
If you do end up going here, throw your informed consent out the window. If you don’t follow every remedy given to you by the doctor, you’ll end up being dropped.

New to Glendora and my first time visiting this office to see Dr. Thai. I was called in a couple a minutes before my appointment of 3 PM by her assistant Vanessa. So no waiting at all. Dr. Thai and her Assistant Vanessa were the best health care providers I have been to in years. They gave me hope again in our heath care system. They were both kind as can be, patient with me, helpful, and answered all my questions and took care of my concerns. I will definitely be coming back to this office for my follow up, after I do my blood work.

Update 1÷19÷16: I wanted to update my review because I wasn’t aware that Dr. Thai actually listened to some of my concerns and she really did put in a request for a referral to an ophthalmologist which I received just last week, so 4 weeks after my visit. I was so happy to receive the referral because my eyes have really been bothering me, but then I went to call the Ophthalmology office to make an appointment and the receptionist said that they only deal with specific patients with problems towards the back part of their eyes, since I am having problems with dryness and vision, I would have to go back to my primary physician to request another referral for a different Ophthalmology specialist. Sigh I’m just beyond disappointed at this point.
Original review 12÷15÷16: I went here for a general checkup since I have been moving around a lot and I havent visited the doctors in almost 6 years. I chose Dr. Thai through my insurance’s referral. The office is quite small, they have one front desk and one MA, both were quite nice and welcoming. I came in with the intention of addressing some of the things that has been bothering me over the past several years, and maybe it was my fault for listing too many things at once, but Dr. Thai didn’t seem pleased. I told her numerous times that I havent been to the doctors in 6 years and I was hoping that she would understand, but I felt that she stopped listening to me after a while. The reason I don’t go to the doctors often is because I really don’t have the time and I was really searching my brain for everything that was wrong so that I can take care of everything at once. Anyways the thing that offended me most is while I tried telling Dr. Thai about one last thing that has been bothering me, she said ‘let’s take care of one problem at a time, we’ll talk more during your next visit. I don’t have time for this right now, I have other patients to see.’ I feel like she could have addressed my concern in so many other ways, but unfortunately she didn’t. I was pretty bummed leaving the office. I can tell that she is a nice person and I might have just caught her on a bad day, but honestly I have never had an experience like this with a primary care physician before. I have been blessed with wonderful primary care physicians in the past and I might have come into this office with too high of expectations, but I will not be coming back. I hope that my comment will help the office improve, because no patients should leave their doctor’s office feeling as terrible as I did.

I went here for the first time today and was turned away because the doctor was triple booked. I did not have an appointment. I walked in because I had an injury. When I asked if there was anyone else that could see me, I was told, «No, she is the only doctor and we don’t have any nurses here.» Even though I was a patient there, their solution was to give me urgent care information.
The waiting room was empty. And in the 15 minutes that I was there, no patients entered.
Both office staff people showed zero compassion. The woman that spoke to the doctor (she called her right in front of me) minimized my medical situation and reminded her that she was double booked. But then she told me that she was triple booked.
I am very disappointed with today’s visit and will be choosing a new doctor today.
On top of minimizing my situation, they handled my insurance information in a very unprofessional way. They treated me like I was infringing on their time and gave them unwanted information to process.

I have had many problems with insurance in the past, I kept losing my Medi-​Cal twice a year because I would get a 2^nd job. Every time I got approved for insurance again — they would assign me to the worst doctors. I finally did my research and thought that I would give Dr. Thai a chance. I was assigned to a different doctor in Covina but called my insurance (LA Care) to switch. I’m so thankful I did because she is honestly the most caring doctor I have ever had.
It will take about two weeks to get an appointment for this office since they are busy. There are two doctors — Dr. Moya and Dr. Thai. I believe that you can ask for the other doctor if your doctor is unavailable for a certain date, depending on the reason of your visit. I have had a case where I needed to see a doctor asap and the receptionist has offered me an appointment the same day with the other doctor. It all just depends on how serious your illness is. I love this office because they accommodate to your needs. Their staff has been extremely professional with me and I have never waited no longer than 20 minutes to be called in when I would have an appointment.
Dr. Thai is hands down the best doctor in the area. She remembers her patients and your previous visits. She never forgets to check up on your health and how your medications are doing. She does not rush you in any way and will always answer your health questions. She is very knowledgable in her field.
Dr. Thai accepts Medi-​Cal for those who have low-​cost insurance and are looking for a doctor that you can normally find only with expensive insurances. She is part of the Citrus Valley Health Partners medical group. Her office is very convenient because if you need blood work done she will send you to Lab Corp which is one floor below her office. There is also a dermatology office that accepts Medi-​Cal in the same building.
I recommend that you have her as your primary care physician. She will always make you feel safe, welcomed, and I can guarantee that she will always do everything she can to help.

Changed Insurance and Drs, Visit Dr Thai 4 weeks ago n my 1^st visit was great went 2 my followup today n I must say she is one of the best Dr’s ever. I’m so blessed with this office n Her care.

I have lived in several states and in California for a number of years. So, I have had my fair share of primary care physicians. Drs. Moya and Thai are simply the best!
They’re a husband and wife team who are the heart of United Family Physicians. Both specialize in family medicine and both were born in the San Gabriel Valley. It’s nice to see two doctors come back to their community to establish such a fine practice serving the locals as well as those who may travel some distance to see them.
I find the office and medical staff to be friendly and professional as well. It’s easy to get an appointment and the wait time, if there is any, is reasonable. If by chance you end up waiting longer than usual, it is because both doctors are no doubt devoting a little extra time to the patients they’re seeing. I have on more than one occasion had Dr. Moya extend his time with me in order to answer my questions and address concerns regarding my medical issues.
More than anything, I feel these doctors LISTEN and are partnered with me to improve my health and well-​being. Finally, doctors that get it! Truly, if you’re looking for great doctors, United Family Physicians have them.

Happy I’m a patient of theirs. Never had a more pleasant experience at a doctor’s office. I went here for an initial check up and also for issues I’ve had with some persistent coughing I’ve had for a couple of months (been very stubborn about seeing doctors). After I my check up and was prescribed my meds, I happily went along my way.
I didn’t expect a follow up call a week or so afterwards checking on me. I’ve never had that experience before so here I am writing this review. Always in the past I’ve been the one to setup a follow up appointment, go to said appointment then arrive on time for that appointment but only to wait an additional 30 or so minutes while I see everyone else in the waiting room being attended to before me. Not here. My appointment was met pretty much on time as I know they were busy but I didn’t have to wait long but that is not why I’m writing this review. It’s the fact that Dr. Thai actually called me to check if I was doing well! Now that’s something to write about!

I can not say enough great things about this office! I have been calling other doctor offices in the area trying to find one to choose as my primary. Not only does front office have pleasant people but back office is just as great! I saw Dr. Khanh M. Thai, she was amazing! Took her time with me and explained everything I asked her. The office was very clean and organized. I’m so happy I was able to find a great office! Oh and I was able to get an appointment within a week, this is fabulous.

Doctor Khanh M. Thai, D. O is a nice lady but she seems very rushed & confused. I read my report better then her! She was reading it wrong & then she says «Yeah, that’s right»! holly molly are you serious! Her receptionist are rude & never answer your questions. The waiting time is awful. Do not bother coming in early because they wont see you! Booking an appt. good luck in about 2 weeks even then you will feel like the doctor did nothing! GO SOME WERE ELSE!
