On a list of «unlikely things for Ewan to do,» ‘posting a favourable review of gas station coffee’ would certainly be included. I’m an unrepentant coffee snob; most coffee is awful.
And I was expecting little else here; but their rewards program gave me a free coffee and I had not had time to brew my own that morning, so…
…they got me. This is, truly, decent coffee: a bit sweet but not bitter, not acid, full-​bodied — and at 99c it’s really quite excellent value. So I give them my imprimatur, and expect that I’ll be stopping in more often: nice job, guys, and an unexpected pleasure indeed!
