I had a Blue Buddha Signature massage with Kate and it was fantastic!
Kate’s graceful movements made the massage feel effortless and complete. I came in with some back pain and left feeling totally relaxed and 100% BETTER. My whole body feels at peace with itself. Her knowledge, technique, style, and flow were perfect; on top of that, she is super friendly and is one of those genuine people that you only meet by chance.

I enjoyed a great Ashiatsu massage by Amber. This is a nice studio and well staffed. Ashiatsu is a great modality and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys deep tissue massages. Most of their staff is trained in this modality.

It had been a little over two years since I had last visited the Blue Buddha. I had enjoyed my last massage with them then, but found their prior location on the second floor of a converted house to be cramped. When I had received an invitation to return with a 30% discount, I figured I’d give the business another try.
I’m a shift worker and was looking for a late Saturday appointment as I was on night shift and would be waking in the afternoon. I gave them a call to schedule my appointment and reached the owner Kate. Kate was flexible and scheduled my appointment with her 30 minutes later than normal to accommodate my schedule. Thanks for being flexible!
I arrived at the appointed time and was welcomed by another employee of the studio. They are in a «new» location (new for me, about two years for them), which is much more spacious with a waiting area on the first floor. The place is an older home that has been converted for commercial use in the past. I was told it was previously a furniture shop and pizza shop in the past. Thick stone walls makes the location quiet despite its proximity to a busy road and it has an old house charm, which makes it welcoming and relaxing inside.
After a few minutes wait, Kate finished with her prior client and welcomed me warmly. After bringing me upstairs to one of several massage rooms, Kate explained how the Ashiatsu massage I had scheduled would work. I normally scheduled deep tissue and have never had an Ashiatsu massage before as few locations offer it, so the quick primer was helpful.
The massage itself? All I can say is wow! I had expected Ashiatsu to feel a bit odd as the masseuse uses foot pressure for a major portion of the massage. This was not my experience however and it felt entirely natural. In fact, I wasn’t always quite sure whether she was using her hands or feet. Throughout the massage Kate was an engaging conversationalist. She was also intuitive and as the massage went on and I became very relaxed, she recognized this and allowed space for quiet. Perfect.
The end result? I can honestly say this is one of the best deep tissue massages I have ever experienced. Great massage, great masseuse, and great location.
Prices listed on the website are not inexpensive ($ 80−90/hr) and I had only been able to afford this massage due to the discount I had received. I was pleasantly surprised when she informed me of substantial discounts when 6 or 12 massages are pre-​ordered. I’ll be taking advantage of this in my next visit.

Lots of parking, beautiful studio, friendly staff. They offer yoga classes and all kinds of massage. Highly recommend!
