BEDBUGS. I went to this place with two friends today just to buy some cheap t-shirts. We spent maybe 20 minutes looking and shopping/checking out. About 15 minutes into it I looked down at my right arm and saw a series of about 7 bites going up it. I said to my friend«Shit, something must have gotten on me and bitten me.» I just figured, you know, bad luck for me. Then five minutes later in the car one of my friends said«Uh, something has got me too,» and showed me bites going up her arm to her neck. We all rushed back to my house and everyone threw their clothes and the things we bought into the wash, and I gave my friends some of my shorts and t-shirts. Then we went out and shampooed the upholstery of my friend’s car. There’s nothing to explain these bites other than bed bugs, and if there are bed bugs in both the men’s and women’s section, that means they are running rampant throughout the store. BEDBUGS.

A letter sent to Forman Mills Customer Service: I am writing today to express my dissatisfaction and the reason why I dropped everything in my order at the front, and left the store never to return, ever. The store this occurred at is your Glenolden Store on MacDade Blvd on Sunday, 04÷26÷15 at 5:10PM. On the good side, I was able to find the items I needed(3 pairs of pants, 3 polo shirts, socks and underwear) in less then 15 minutes. But things go downhill from there very fast. As I approach the front of the store to the registers, the lines are snaking around the front of the store. Every open register has a line at least 5 people deep. As I stand there, I swear, ever single order required some type of special handling(no price tag, no bar code, can’t find it in the computer, etc.), causing even more delays. Shopping carts are scarce at your store, so I did not get to use one. You have maybe 10 in total for the whole store. So, I’m standing there with 3 pairs of pants, 3 shirts, socks and underwear in my arms. Trying holding that for longer than 5 minutes and see how heavy the items become as your arms get tired. So, everytime they can’t find a barcode, a price, etc — a loudspeaker announcement goes off. Then someone has to come over. Then go out into the store. Then come back with something that can be scanned. Each and every call like this is at least a 5 minutes delay, meanwhile the cashier is staring at the ceiling, doing absolutely nothing while waiting. No one on your staff looks happy, no one is smiling, no one is friendly. Each staff member I saw today had a look on their face like they would rather be anywhere else! There is no sense of urgency to anything. If your employees moved any slower, they would be going backwards. This is not the first time either. Every trip to Forman Mills is like this, nothing ever changes, nothing ever improves! Your checkout process is an absolute shit-show and is inexcusable in this day and age of technology! That is why I(and someone else, as well) just dumped my order out front and left the store. I’ll be sticking to K&G from now on. They may be a little more expensive, but their customer service is far better, which is worth the price. Regard, Thomas Byrne–

Dreadful. It has that chemical odor of clothing dye and the stench of the prison labor camps who they must use to pump out a $ 1.99 t-shirt. Stick with name brands and you might find a bargain or two. Or, you very well may be crushed by an avalanche of crappy merchandise or mugged by a surly employee.

There is only two reasons you will catch me in a Forman Mills, especially this one. 1) I need underwear. They carry it in my size, and cheap. 2) I need a cheap Phillies t-shirt. They have those too. Otherwise, this place is atrociously run. Most of the cashiers in the front just don’t seem to care. It’s always a mess, and so tightly packed in the clothing aisles that it’s almost impossible to move in there. The clothing quality here is just short of awful. I’ve often tried on big men sizes here which were marked as my size, yet were close to two sizes too small. That happens more often than you think. Today, I even had a delay in ringing up my order because the item I brought up, which was clearly marked $ 1.99, didn’t have a bar code, and they had to call someone from the back. There was no way for them to manually enter the item. This caused a very unnecessary delay for the people behind me, which were stacking up as we waited. Part of the reason for that of course is that they are never adequately stocked at the registers. On a weekend, expect to wait at least 20 minutes just to get out of here. I will say that if I had a family to dress(and I will shortly), I would come here more often because it’s a good way to save money on kids clothing. But it’s an embarrassment to shop here because of the quality of the store. Seriously, this place makes Walmart next door look like Neiman Marcus.
