New ownership has brought about no appreciable changes to this storied institution, and that is a very good thing. More than 3 years after my last visit, it’s like no time has passed. Four of us came by on a Saturday night and took seats at the bar, while families and couples dined on their amazing pizza around us. Three rounds of drinks, a couple of shots of Jameson and a mushroom and onion pizza cost us under 70 dollars. That’s American Dollars, people.
Pro Tip: enjoy Gennessee Beer on draft for like 2 bucks — it’s actually not a bad beer!

If you happen to be familiar with Talk of the Town from previous years, it will be quite evident when your food arrives, that the place is under new ownership! Greasy, tasteless pizza with soggy, thin crust and no sauce. Uninspired, tiny salad bar with wilted lettuce. Place is nothing like it used to be.
