Ken the owner is rude, does not make eye contact while speaking to you, seems annoyed that you want a service from him at his shop, bothered by any questions you may have. This guy has such a bad attitude, he would benefit from a business or etiquette class. Shop is very dirty and uninviting. Kens tattoos are not all that either, I wish I did my homework before going here. Live and learn

I got tattooed by Kenneth at the Baltimore Tattoo & Arts Convention a couple days ago. I was really impressed by his skill at tattooing eyes, and since I wanted an All-Seeing Eye of God(Eye of Providence), I decided to get tattooed by him. I got the tattoo at the bottom of my sternum, and I’m really pleased and impressed by the detail, symmetry, and style. My only complaint is that he seemed a little distracted while doing the tattoo(kept looking up/around while the needle was very close to my skin), which made me hella nervous. I’m excited to see it all healed up!

I went here looking to get a tattoo considering it is in my neighborhood. As soon as I opened the door. Well all I can say is Wow! Your are greeted when you come into the place buy a beat up old couch with a dusty table with dusty Ink magazines on the table to leaf through I guess if you ever had to wait around to get a tat.(Place was dead when I was there you could of held a funeral). After that you are met with ton of old flash before you get to the counter where you get to talk to somebody that works there. Flash! What tattoo shop still has flash around. Once I arrived at the counter I was met by a guy named Kenny which I came to find out is the owner. While standing there as he is shoveling Chinese food into his mouth as I explain to him what I’m looking to get done. Dude eating at the counter while a potential customer is asking about hiring you! Once I was able to get Kenny’s full attention he went to a computer located to his right and looked up some ideas of what I was explaining I had wanted. While he is doing this I am examining the filth and grime and dust build up all over this place. There was a weight bench in the room also and a dog and I guess the dogs lunch or dinner feces also on the floor. Kenny came back over shortly with some printouts of stuff for me to check out. I went along and seemed pleased with the suggestions to my ideas and said I would be back later in the week to get something started. I just said that to get the heck outta this place I didn’t wanna humiliate him by telling him his place basically looked like a homeless shelter let alone a clean sterile place to get a tat. I really wanted to bitch slap this Kenny for eating like a pig at the counter when I was inquiring about services. I would never go to this place for a tat or piercing its filthy and disgusting. I have also made a call to the township to have it checked out by the health commission. Dog shit on the floor. Really!!! This place it a toilet!

I had gotten a stupid tattoo at 18(as many of us do). For years, I debated getting it removed or «covered» — I wasn’t thrilled with either option. Well, a friend of mine had several pieces done by Kenny, so I went for it. Unbelievable! Kenny took a marker and freehand drew an outline for the new tattoo. I put total faith in Kenny(which I don’t do easily), and it came out beautifully! So much so, that i went back a few months later with a neighbor and we both got new ink. I’ve been toying with the though of one more — but, I’m not ready yet. when the time comes — it’s all about Kenny at Intimate Body Arts. no one else touches my skin with a needle, ever again!
