One Way Originals

I’ve taken 2 motorcycles to Dave at One Way Originals to repair, and my experience on both has been outstanding. My KLR 650 needed various fixes and upgrades soon after I purchased it so it would handle the off road riding I was anticipating, and Dave had it finely tuned and rock solid for the toughest trails in Moab. I’d purchased my bike used, and then just this fall at the end of riding season, my clutch wasn’t engaging and I was stuck in gear. I loaded it up and took it to Dave, and said since it was used and had several thousand miles, my guess was it needed a clutch rebuild. I checked the prices online for all the parts and was ready to pay several hundred for the project. Dave looked into it, made several adjustments to the clutch, and returned it to me with a bill for 1 hour of work, no parts. Fabulous. After seeing how much fun I was having with my KLR, my wife bought a used DRZ 400. I picked it up cheap because it wouldn’t idle. Dave dug and dug into that bike until he found the root cause in the carb, but only charged me the time and materials for the final repair, not all the investigative time. I couldn’t imagine anyone knowing bikes better and charging more than fair prices for expert work.

Went to this shop based on a recommendation. What a huge MISTAKE. I had a problem with my motorcycle starting. I went there and he (David Way– the owner) put in a new fuel line. I paid this guy in full and when I got back home the motorcycle again would not start. Needless to say after going back there a couple of times to try to fix the matter it was never fixed. He just said he did not know what else could be wrong and would search the internet. I then went to Harley Davidson where they fixed the same fuel line he replaced. Harley said It was installed by (One way originals) with a IMPROPER clamp thus cutting the fuel line through vibration and losing pressure the bike would have start problems. ONE WAY ORIGINALS would not return any of my money when confronted. CONSUMERS BEWARE OF THIS GUY! No wonder he only takes checks or cash!!!
