I drove out of my way to visit this store only to be told rudely that the store was closed. The store’s hours are until 8pm and the open sign was on, door unlocked but when I opened the door, the unpleasant person behind the counter looked up and rudely stated«we’re closed». When I mentioned I thought they were open until 8pm, she said the were closed at 6 and that they would be closing for a few months at the end of the week. Doesn’t matter to me, I won’t be back. As a former shop owner, nothing is more appalling than a small business displaying such rude behavior. As a customer, it guarantees I’ll make sure no one I know shops there.

Had my first contact with the Learning Post. Two ladies were working at the counter. One had such excessive body odor I had to exhale during my transaction not to smell the stink. Deodorant would be a good recommendation for that employee or perhaps have her work in the stock room. Stinko!!!

I have been a loyal customer of the Learning Post for all six years of my teaching career, which is why it’s very difficult for me to write this review. Today I went to the Learning Post to return a few items that I didn’t need for my classroom. When I walked in I wasn’t greeted, the ladies behind the counter just looked up at me and continued talking. Then as I gave my items to return one sales attendant rudely commented that the tag was ripped. I hadn’t realized the tag was ripped and I said that I would hold on to it, as I wouldn’t want to return something that was damaged. After processing my return the other attendant put my receipt and a pen on the table and went to do something else without instructing me to sign or even making eye contact. I asked if I was supposed to sign and she rudely responded. I then asked if they had a trash can for the customer copy of the receipt and she RUDELY pointed to the trash can located BEHIND the counter(instead of offering to throw it away for me). The whole interaction was just an example of horrific customer service. I feel horribly for the owner, who is probably unaware that they have such apathetic and unwelcoming staff working in their establishment. The Learning Post has a reputation at my school for having poor customer service and it is such a shame because I love many of their products. I hope they try and do better! In the meantime I will be taking my business elsewhere.

A very wide variety of educational materials and toys to choose from. Staff is knowledgeable, and customer service is great! I returned a book that had been improperly published(some of the pages were backwards) and they took it back even with out a receipt exchanged it for a good copy. without batting an eye. I didn’t have high hopes without a receipt, but they exceeded my expectations. I love to patronized businesses like this.
