Took a Tuxedo here to have the pants hemmed and inseam let out for my wedding. The process took a week. When I picked up the tux pants I was so caught up with how poorly the inseam was done I didn’t notice how bad the hem job was. I pointed out the inseam to the owner, she took it in the back fumbled around for 5 minutes, brought the pants upfront, bagged it up, and asked for payment $ 30 (kinda high for hem work but whatever.) Didn’t let me look at the pants to see that she had fixed it because she didn’t fix it. The day of the wedding my buddy pointed out the hem on my pants looked terrible. He wasn’t busting chops, you could see the stitch job from a good distance out. It was way worse than the rentals on my groomsman. The whole reason I bought instead of rented was to avoid the busted hem job.
Listen, its a small business. I’m not trying to crucify anyone. The owners were very friendly. I would have brought other suits for alterations in the future. I personally, just can’t trust this place after this experience.

Same great European tailoring. I also want to mention another experience where I had to have the sleeves of a pricey Thomas Pink shirt altered. Since I bought the shirt on sale, I thought that I could live with the longer sleeves. The shop mentioned that the sleeves and back can be easily altered to my measurements at a price where the shirt still was a great deal. Perfect work… I cannot tell the difference. It actually fits better than the original shirt. I have since taken Hickey Freeman suits and other items for a «bespoke» fit. This is place offers incredible quality and value. Still highly recommended for those who live in the Northern suburbs.

I found Urek’s on Unilocal and took a chance. I could not have been happier. I took a pair of dress pants in to get sized down in the waist and tightened around the legs… they came out perfect! The service was done at a very reasonable price and the owner was very very nice. I will definitely visit Eva for future alterations.
