Veseli Design and Build

As a general contractor who is also an architect, Goran Veselinovic of Veseli Design and Build was amazing to work with. His attention to our wishes was impressive, always coming up with ideas that fit our financial and aesthetic needs. Goran knew that we were working within a budget, and to that end, he gave us options that allowed us to stay on track financially while producing a beautiful living space for us. Overall, we were extremely pleased with the outcome of our total gut and redo which transformed our 1980s era unit into a modern and comfortable space. We will definitely work with Veseli Design and Build on future projects.

Veseli Design helped us remodel and rennovate our very 90’s kitchen. It looks a lot better and is much easier to maintain now. I soooo do not miss that formica! Veseli helped us find the right granite color to fit into our future plans for the kitchen (new cabinets etc).
Veseli also helped us get discounts from vendors and told us where to shop for the best prices. They also adviced us against bathroom rennovations that would have made them money, but would have reduced the value of our home (for example, turning our bathtub into a large shower would not be a good idea if a family with a baby wanted to buy our condo). Yes, an honest contractor does in fact exist!
Attention to detail was great too. We had a drop-​in stove and needed to install a new slide-​in one. Unlike the previous handyman who butchered the bottom of our cabinets when installing our new dishwasher, Veseli installed our new stove carefully and neatly. Goran also helped us think through details we would not have thought of — like where to have the granite guy cut the pieces so the seams aren’t yucky.
Veseli has an eye and vision for design. It’s a relief to work with somone who sees the bigger picture and potential of your home. My kitchen isn’t done yet, so will definitely be using their services again.

We contracted with Veseli Design to remodel our bathroom, which included fixing some poorly done plumbing and adding a ventilation fan, along with complete replacement of fixtures, tile, etc.
Goran from Veseli Design was great to work with! He promptly responded to all phone calls and emails. He referred us to quality vendors and I’ve been pleased with all the vendors he recommended.
The guy who laid the tile for the shower and the floor was amazingly detailed, and the bathroom looks fantastic. We couldn’t be happier with the end result! The project was finished on time and within the budget… you don’t hear that very often with home improvement projects!
In addition to doing general contracting, Goran is an architect, so he can help you take your plan from idea to completion. We’ll definitely be working with Veseli Design for the rest of our home improvement needs.
