I had never been whitewater rafting before, and I had a BLAST! The guides and the entire staff are amazing. The guides make the trip fun, and their knowledge of the history of the area and the local wildlife and plants is top notch! If you are looking for a fun trip while in Colorado, this is THE place to go!!!

This is an outstanding rafting establishment! I have never been white water rafting and they made it an amazing first time experience! Our Raft Guide, Wyatt, was an outstanding guide! He showed us all the significant and non-​significant geological formations as we went through Glenwood Canyon and beyond! The trip provides great views of Glenwood canyons that you cannot get from I-​70! They are the best views you will ever get of the Canyon! It is truly beautiful! If you are a first time rafter or an experienced rafter, I very strongly recomend this Buisness! They are truly great!

We were a group of 4 and I was the only one who had never rafted before so I was excited but a little nervous. Lucky for me, the staff that day were super informative, helpful and knowledgeable. Our trip was a blast in large part due to our awesome river guide Jake!!! Dude you know your stuff and my husband left that day wanting to be you haha! Bottom line, if you are looking for affordable awesome rafting then this is your place! :)

Exactly the adventure I was looking for! Having never been white water rafting… I was worried I would either book a trip I wasn’t ready for, or book a trip that was too dull. This trip on the Colorado River in September turned out to be just right. Now I’m ready to try something really crazy next time!
We took the raft/​kayak adventures… which started out in a larger raft with up to 8 people for the Shoeshone rapids. Big Bear (Sean) was an incredible guide… and made the entire experience very fun. After the river calms down, we jumped in a Kayak to complete the final 5 – 7 miles on our own. There were still a few minor rapids that you got to face on your own… making this the most exciting kayak trip I’ve taken. Adding to the experience are the giant canyon walls rising up on both sides of the river… incredible scenery! You share the canyon with Interstate 70… but for most of the trip you can barely hear the traffic.
I’d love to take the kayak through the Shoeshone rapids… but I’m sure that’s too much of a liability!

Great adventure for a reasonable price! Big Bear was our guide and he’s the man. Made our Colorado visit memorable.

Had a great time on the Colorado. Staff at the office was very helpful and nice. Our guide was Calvin and he was awesome. Very knowledgeable about the river and the canyon. We had a great ride. Will definitely go with Blue Sky again.

Tim was our guide and he was knowledgeable and funny. Beautiful scenery, tame class III rapids and plenty of spots to jump out and swim. Worth it for first timers or those looking for a little adventure with their sight seeing.

We had a great time with Blue Sky! The check in process was fast and easy. The guides were funny, attentive, and knowledgable. Our guide, Mac, is a geology major and was able to tell us so much about the river and the rock formations surrounding it! We talked and told jokes but the Rapids were the best part. I felt safe and adventurous all at the same time! Defiantly check them out, you will have a great time.

Great experience with Blue Sky Adventures. Family of 12, split into two boats. Our tour guide was Hayley – she was the best! She was very knowledgable of the river and canyon and had great facts to offer. Also a lot of other advice to offer about Glenwood Springs.
We went the last day of July so the rapids were more mild but still very fun. All of the staff members were awesome – everyone had a positive attitude and were very happy to help.
Would definitely use this company again!

We chose the 14 mile route, which includes the rapid section, and it was worth it, even for first timers. The guide Hayley was very friendly and knew her thing well.

Incredible experience! They were so nice and fun. We had the BEST raft guide: Joe. He was super informative, chill, and just the nicest guy I’ve met.
I strongly suggest the kayak option after the big rapids. It was more adventurous for my husband and I.
I loved the pictures they had taken. My only critic of the experience is that I felt that the picture CD should have been $ 30 but maybe I’m just thinking of how much I already paid. Otherwise, great staff, great rapids, and great memories.

We had a great experience from start to finish. Everyone was incredibly professional and fun and I could not recommend this place more highly.
We booked our white water rafting adventure pretty last minute but thankfully they were accommodating. Our guides were reassuring and highly experienced as they took us through the more precarious parts. They were also very knowledgeable about the terrain and history of the river, came out to be a dual fun and educational experience.
For the price and the length, there is no other place that will offer a similar value.

We did the Half Day adventure where we hit class II & III rapids. Our guide Tim was a cool guy and we had a lot of fun. Total time of the trip was 2.5 hours. Would definitely raft again with them on or next trip to the Rockies.

Great experience! The staff and our guide, Joe, at Blue Sky Adventures were absolutely wonderful! At first I was very apprehensive about the trip, but felt at ease knowing our guide had years of experience on the rapids. I had a great time and by the end I was wishing for more! I also thoroughly enjoyed learning more about the geography of canyon and surrounding areas, the native plants and animals, and different attractions in Glenwood Springs. It was informational and a blast!
I loved that they had a professional photographer on staff to capture the moments. Buying the $ 45 photo cd was totally worth it! I still enjoy looking back at the photos and laughing at some of the awesome expressions on our faces.
Overall, I would visit again! Fantastic company!

Wow! Wanted a white water adventure & we got one. Did the all day rafting with our guide Tim. Awesome experience. From the first phone call when we asked questions to the checkin, great personnel. Tim was very attentive to the kids & well versed in local lore.
Had some much fun seriously thinking about doing the same thing tomorrow…

Had a great time rafting in Glenwood Springs with this company. Our guide was awesome. I can’t remember his name for the life of me (sorry!) but he had been a guide for 18 years and made my nervous Mom very at ease with the whole process. The company provides you water shoes, rafting pants and a rafting jacket. No one needed to rent a wet suit or other water shoes, but we had planned to do so.
The river itself was pretty tame when we went in mid-​June, but still really fun! We did the early morning rafting trip, which was kind of overcast and chilly. The advantage was we were done early with time to grab lunch and then go on an afternoon hike. My family of 7 (from age 9 – 69), had a great day.
The photo CD was $ 45 for all the pics, which I think is a great price. We made copies for all of us and now we can print whatever we’d like. Thanks Blue Sky for an awesome morning!

My experience with Blue Sky Adventures was amazing! My husband and I did a lot of activities with this company. I finally can mark off white water river rafting from my bucket list. I was a getting nervous because I don’t know how to swim and the rapids were a category 5. Our guide was awesome! She just took care of all of us and made sure that we were safe. No one fell out of the raft. Made me think that I should move here and become a raft guide. We had so much fun.
Another activity that we did was biking. We went biking through the mountain. Also, if you are worried about the prices, this place is not expensive at all. The prices are so reasonable. The staff are awesome!
