I’ve had a half-​dozen massages here — and both my wife and I really love it. She had the Watsu water massage several times — and really enjoyed the feeling of floating while being massaged — especially when she was pregnant.
I’ve had massages by Tonya, Ruth, and Kristine — all of which were very good — and attentive to my needs. I would definitely recommend getting a massage here.

My girlfriend and I got a couples massage and facial here and it was great. The staff was very friendly and professional. It was in a cute little house-​type shop, which was very warm, welcoming, and quaint. TREAT YO SELF to this fantastic experience!

My wife and I had massages here. I can’t say enough good about our massages.
My wife’s therapist worked out an issue she had with her forearm.
My therapist gave a great all around massage.
Prices were reasonable as well.

This place might not be the flashiest commercial spa that you’ve ever come across but the pampering service and genuine interest in what you would like to get out of your spa session more than makes up for any superficial lackings.
I thoroughly enjoyed my 110 minute Body Scrub and Massage package delivered by Ruth. It was totally relaxing, professional and decadent. There was a sincere desire to make the experience perfect that many other spas I have attended seem to lack.
Some helpful hints:
* The Steamy Wonder device is REALLY steamy, but it is adjustable. ASK if you would like it more steamy or eased down a notch.
* There was no pre-​procedure questionnaire so speak up if you are pregnant, or suffer any medical condition that might be affected by your treatment.
* Ring well in advance, this place is popular! And for good reason! But they will do their best to offer a suitable appointment even if you call last-​minute (like I did!)

My friend and I did the hot stone special for couples. I had Spencer and if you want a deep tissue he definitely can deliver. My friend had Tanya and was absolutely in love with her. I am a spa snob and have gone to places as expensive as Burke Williams to the Asian $ 15 foot massage, I can definitely say this is in my top 3 massages I have had. The only down side in the couples room was the noise you could hear of people walking upstairs. Luckily Spencer had a great humor and said water buffalo live upstairs.

If you are more interested in your treatment than getting cucumber water, admiring expensive fountains and lounging in chairs with tea before your treatment, this is the place for you. I had what I can only describe as a mind-​blowing watsu treatment from Susan. I’m sure it’s different for everyone. All I can say is if you haven’t tried it, you must. It’s important to trust your therapist, and Susan is a kind soul who seems to be able to read where your head is when you are in the water and adjusts her techniques accordingly. I will definitely come back the next time I drive through Glenwood Springs. In fact, I drove here from Denver just for this treatment and it was worth it.

I had a great experience at the spa. I purchased a two hour pre-​natal massage package for my wife, including the Watsu water massage and a regular massage — and she liked them so much that she scheduled a massage for me (and I don’t usually get massages).
Tanya was great, and adapted to what worked best for me. All the people at the spa are really friendly and happy to help make your day easier. Highly recommended if you are looking to spend an hour relaxing and recharging your batteries. Don’t let the façade fool you — inside is cozy, beautiful and relaxing, and the people are fantastic.

Just had a fantastic visit!!! Susan was amazing and has converted to me ashiatsu! I can’t imagine having another type of massage! Great, home-​y feel (literally, she’d turned her home into the spa). Loved it and will definitely be back next time we’re in the area!

We came here during our winter road trip after spending the afternoon at the hot spring pool! We had a 60 minute therapeutic couples massage. It is inside an old home in the basement. Super cute and very relaxing. I would 100% come back for another massage if I’m ever in Glenwood Springs again!

My husband and I had the couples Watsu message about 8 months ago. We still talk about it and practice the moves they taught us in our pool at home! They instructor was AMAZING. I am looking forward to our next trip to Colorado JUST TO GO SEE THE LADIES AT SPLEDOR MOUNTAIN SPA! They are THAT good!

My husband and I had a couples massage at Splendor Mountain Spa while on a mini-​moon in Glenwood Springs. We were both very happy with our respective massages. The price seemed reasonable for a 60 minute massage and the booking was very easy as well. We would go back if we are in the Glenwood area!

Had a 75 minute massage after a very long bike ride. The therapist really worked with me to get the right pressures and locations where my muscles were sore and knotted up to work out the lactic acid. I would definitely go back.

Three of us had one hour massages and they were wonderful! This place is cozy and personal. If you’re looking for fancy spa, this is not it. If you’re looking for friendly, warm, cozy and a good massage at a reasonable price, I’d recommend it. Very easy to make reservations for all of us at one time. They responded very quickly to email and were very helpful. I would definitely go back.

Chose to get service from this spa as opposed to going to one of the big spas in town. What a good decision. We were warmly welcomed. The service was excellent and the staff was both very professional and pleasant. The prices were half of what we would have paid at the other location. I would strongly recommend using this local family owned and operated spa. They also offer Watsu (water massage), which I hear is awesome.

I have been having massages and Watsu at Splendor Mountain Spa for many years now and I can highly recommend them. The Watsu (water massage) is an absolutely incredible experience that everyone should try. It is the most relaxing and enjoyable form of massage I have ever experienced. While there are many good places to get a massage in Glenwood and I have tried most of them, I believe Splendor Mountain to be by far the best.

Love this place! We got a couples massage here and we both fell asleep & set a chill mood for the rest of our day. Deffinitely one of the best priced for quality massages in town, but don’t go if you’re one who likes the whole ‘upscale spa’ atmosphere.
