This is an amazingly beautiful area in Oregon located twenty or so miles east of Roseburg. I love stopping by here when visiting family in the area. The two rivers, North Umpqua and Little River actually collide head on which is pretty unique and make for some spectacular sights. The best time to view is during a winter storm(we Californians kind of remember what those are) or in the spring when the Rivers are at their high flow levels. It’s pretty breathtaking as the rivers collide shooting water high up into the air. The little town is called Glide and is a very popular fishing destination. I’ve seen a lot of fish pulled out of the rivers in the area. There’s loads of camping available as well as some«rustic«cabins. Pretty basic lodging but well worth it if you’re spending time on the rivers. It’s also pretty good rafting through this area. Just don’t get snagged by a fisherman.

This is a beautiful river located about 18 – 20 miles east of Roseburg, OR at Glide. It’s called«Colliding Rivers» because the waters from the North Umpqua River meets the Little River. We went to Oregon to spend Thanksgiving w/his Mom and this little scenic stop happened to be the destination that Kevin wanted to take me to. The weather was cold so my kiddo stayed in the car w/his Mom… Kevin and I explored alongside the rivers a few minutes just to be in awe w/nature and of course, take a few pictures. It was certainly breathtaking and I had a great vacation.
