This restaurant is now The Copper Hen Cakery. Vida E Caffe moved to a building on Broad Street but has not yet reopened.

I love this coffee shop! The staff is always friendly and helpful. My usual go-to drink is the Americano and the hazelnut iced latte. The food and baked goods are also amazing, especially the cookies and chocolate cake. I love stopping by to see what new baked goods they have in their case. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in town.

Oh yes! This is a great coffee shop! We’ve been twice when visiting Globe. It’s sure to be one of our stops every time we come through the area. The sandwiches have been delicious both times. I have nothing but good things to say about the drinks.

We truly enjoyed this caffe. We had an excellent lunch and the service was excellent too. It is right across the street from the firehouse. We met the owner(by chance) as she was getting out of her car near the restaurant. She even told us about her favorite Mexican restaurant because, as she put it, Globe is famous for Mexican food.

Every town, no matter how small, needs a great coffee shop! This is Globe’s great coffee shop! Lot’s of space, loads of character, and good drinks. The food(breakfast sandwich) was good too.

We’re rarely in Globe, but this will be a MUST stop for us! We had the Pumpkin Spice and Dirty Horchata coffees(both hot) and they were delicious! I also tried their cream cheese cinnamon roll and it was warmed up to perfection. The service is friendly and the ambiance is great. Looking forward to our next stop here!

A funky little place in Globe? Yep. And they actually have a real espresso press and they produce some passable lattes. On my second visit the place was FILLED with smoke from the grill. I guess they don’t have an exhaust fan?! Ummmmm, they really need one.

I had the turkey panini and it was very good. And large. But the potato salad side was awful. Probably cheap commercial. Price was reasonable. Got a bagel for later and it was very good. My lunch I got to go as the dining room was cold. The service was efficient but also cold.

I frequent Globe for work meetings and usually hit up one of the local mexican joints. However, on the last work trip we decided to check out Vida E Caffe. First of all, let me tell you that is has a cool vibe! If i lived in Globe this would be a place I’d come to get some coffee in the morning and then hit up at night for some ambiance. I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich with a side of chips. The sandwich was the BOMB! The chicken was freshly prepared(not microwaved, you know how some places cook it, bleh!) and the pesto was on point. For the amount of food the price was just right(i think it was about $ 7.50 or so, for a sandwich and chips). My two co-workers also really enjoyed their sandwiches. I would highly recommend this place and i’d definitely be back!

It’s always a treat to find a gem in a tiny, quaint town that’s not a chain. This café has a lot of space to study and they offer food and coffee options. I tried their italiano panini and have to say it was quite good. This place is a good option for a place to study or a place to meet up with friends and chat.

This coffee shop in the quaint town of Globe is a great reprieve from the same old boring coffee chain. I recommend those travelers passing through to take a look inside the place for a great tasting cup o’ Joe. I ordered a breakfast sandwich that was made fresh and served on a bagel of my choosing. The meal was decent, the iced latte hit the spot, and the price was very fair. The young lady and gentleman working behind the counter this particular day were very friendly. The menu appears to have your normal coffee staples along with some juices and several paninis for the lunch crowd. I would definitely stop by the place the next time I am passing through.

It is just great to find true coffee enthusiasts in small towns! Great coffee, cozy place to just park for a few minutes on our way to/from Safford! Interesting story of a family owned business. Keep it up!

If you are looking for a great Cappuccino, this is the place. We live close to the Italien border, and we usually get some good Cappuccino there, but this one was outstanding!!! The owner was super friendly, and the Pumpkincake delicious!!!

Ok in the interest of full disclosure, I will say upfront that I am friends with the owners of this place. But then again, so are most of the locals that frequent this place because, well, that’s the kind of place it is. I’m originally from LA and am used to the hustle and bustle of people(including myself) who use coffee shops as temporary work spaces. But if you’re tired of the anonymity and anxiety of urban life, this is the place to come detox. Take a deep breath, settle into a couch with a drink of your choice, and enjoy the experience! Don’t be surprised if you end up striking up a conversation with a stranger. If you come on the first Friday or second Saturday of the month, you can enjoy some live music from local talent. Those are a bit of a hit or miss, but that’s part of the charm of a small town open mic. All of their drinks and sandwiches are good. My personal faves are the iced hazelnut latte and Irish cream mocha. Love their hot chocolate(Mexican or not) in the winter. They always seem to have interesting seasonal drinks as well. If you ask, they might even make you a special drink! Non-coffee-drinkers rave about their smoothies and Italian sodas. This was the coffee shop that compelled me to start tipping baristas. The service is friendly, personable, and on point. Oh, and if you are lucky, you might come on a day when they have fresh baked goods made by the manager, who is a trained chef. I was never a huge sweets person until I moved to Globe, and I have a sneaking suspicion Jordan is to blame. Her blueberry scones, raspberry bars, and any of her breads(banana, pumpkin, zucchini), and sugar cookies are all delicious. I appreciate that her creations are sweet but not over the top. It’s hard to put into words what Vida is really like(Sunset mag called it «Globe’s community living room and sometimes we joke that it’s a place«where everybody knows your name»), so you’ll just have to come check it out for yourself.

I have a little bit of a like/dislike relationship with this place: — LIKE the artsy café atmosphere. — DISLIKE that the last two times we were in here, the AC was broken on days with 107 degree weather :/ — LIKE the free wifi with power strips to plug into. — DISLIKE that if you’re not lucky enough to grab a table near the power strip, your power chord is probably not long enough to reach the power strips without risking someone tripping over it. — LIKE the couches. — LIKE the music. I was Shazam-ing at least once every 15 mins. Very KCRW-ish. — LIKE their Italiano Panini(sans mozzarella) with basil, tomato, artichoke and onion. I recommend a little drizzle of balsamic vinegar on there. — DISLIKE that even though the panini comes with a side, the only options are potato salad(with mayo) or pasta salad(with cheese), both pre-made. Even though they let me grab a bag of chips instead, the meal doesn’t fill me up for $ 8. — DISLIKE that I happened to glaze over into the kitchen as I watched the lady stick a panini into the microwave. They don’t have a panini press? — LIKE that they have hummus and pita bread in the fridge. — DISLIKE that they only had the hummus on my first visit and I didn’t get to try it :( — DISLIKE that once the sandwich maker person leaves, you’re stuck with the pre-made stuff in the fridge, which means no veggie sandwich for me since it had cheese and a creamy dill spread. — LIKE that they serve fresh fruit smoothies. — LIKE that Globe is such a small town that you’re bound to run into people you know at this café. — LIKE that they don’t mind you staying for hours and hours even though you only ordered an iced tea. So it has it’s pros and cons. I’m still a fan! It’s one of the few places in Globe that I could hang out and work on my computer for a large portion of the day. That is, when the AC is working.

Cute little coffee shop serving up sandwiches, baked goods in addition to coffee drinks. They ran out of a few items I was interested in(bagels, Cuban panini), but the sandwich I ended up with(tomato/mozzarella/pesto) was delicious. The drink of the day was a violet mocha, which I tried. It came in a large glass, and while I enjoy the fact they go out to be creative with their drinks, the floral taste didn’t really fit with the coffee for me. In the mornings, a lot of locals come by to chat with each other and catch up on news, etc. It’s a cool place to be!

Globe is lucky to have a place like this. I stopped in for my coffee fix, after flying in this morning and finding some good reviews about this place on Unilocal. It’s your friendly neighborhood coffeehouse, with drums and other instruments in the corner, food, and numerous coffee and not-coffee options, including a blended horchata(which I opted against, with some measure of regret). I did get a frappé with almond milk, hazelnut and mocha. It was quite good, and suitably strong, and my wife’s cranberry Italian soda was equally good(and a bit sour, like cranberries should be). The place feels right and is one of those independent coffee shops that you don’t see much of nowadays. So if you’re on the Superstition Mountains grand tour, definitely visit it!

What’s in Globe, AZ? Not much… but we needed a pit-stop, so decided to drive through the city and ended up at Vida e Caffe. Not only were we pleasantly surprised by the adorable looking shop, friendly service, plentiful menu, and moderate prices, but they had a clean restroom to boot! Not sure that Globe will ever be a final destination for us, but it makes the perfect place to stop along the way!
