A place that knows how to pour a proper pint of Guinness at a super price. Food is awesome… Especially the McMichael burger… Thursday’s Beer and a burger deal for 10 bucks awesome!!! Bar keepers are super friendly and down to earth… always enjoy going here.

Love this place! I can’t believe I hadn’t been in there before a couple of weeks ago. My sister and I stopped in one night, after seeing my dad at the hospital. We were starving and needed a cold one. Service was great — The place was pretty empty, but it was a week night. Love the dining area and all the booths. We always prefer booth seating to tables/chairs, so this place is the best when it comes to that. We shared an order of chili cheese fries, that were the best I ever had. In fact, we went back the next night, with more friends, and ordered them again! The food is pretty great… and the prices are decent too. I’m surprised it wasn’t busier; I think people are missing out on a great place.

I had lunch here recently and was very fond of the pub fare and excellent beer selection. The barmaid was friendly, professional and never let you go a moment without making sure your glass was full. This is a great little bar and highly recommended.

I love McMichael’s. The atmosphere is great. The servers are nice and friendly. The food is delicious, but I feel like it takes a really long time for the food to be done.

Been here numerous times. The food is usually always good. Be aware that you will wait a whole for your food, and the waitresses are never the best, a lot of waiting. Their food is great and the atmosphere is great. However, after going there tonight and getting the smallest wings ever and burgers that were about the size of McDonald’s burgers, I may not be going there for a while.

Multiple visits here. First of all you would be hard pressed to find a better looking Irish pub in South Jersey. The décor does remind you of some pubs in Ireland, so the previous owner is to be commended for spending so much on the realistic décor, and the new owner gets props for keeping the ambiance. Most of the food we’ve tried has been pretty good bar food. There is free popcorn while you are looking at the menu, and the wings are very good as is their signature Mikey Mike sandwich, which may be south jerseys answer to the Schmitter. There is also an upstairs room if you have a big group or want to get away from the open mic nights which can blast you to Brooklawn some nights. The waitresses are cute and friendly and drink service is very fast but the food service can be slow some times when it is busy. Not sure if there is a lot of turnover in the imported beers, a Heiniken tasted a little skunky so you may want to stick with domestic beers. We switched to Yeungling. There is a tiny lot in the back so you may have to park on the street. McMichaels is only yards away from the legendary Keeblers bar and its famous roast beef sandwiches which closed years ago. If anyone could ever duplicate Keeblers roast beef sandwiches here you would have the perfect bar. On the whole a great little pub that sometimes plays authentic Irish music and a real asset to this part of South Jersey.

Been here twice. First time was during the week and it was pretty dead. Bartender was super friendly and the food was amazing. Second time was a Saturday, and the service was absolutely horrible. Waitress walked by our table several times and didn’t ask if we needed anything until we stood up to leave 20 minutes after sitting down. Will not be returning.

McMichael’s has great food, decent beer selection, and friendly service. I have been here several times, and so far I have enjoyed everything. I especially recommend the Irish Nachos, Garlic Parmesan Chicken Tenders, and Roasted Pork Sandwich(I got it with long hots and sharp provolone). For a local pub & grill, McMichael’s is as good as it gets.

This pub is located down the street from Max’s Seafood Café. We decided to check out McMichael’s Pub & Grill today for lunch. The inside seems to have been renovated since they took over the previous pub(the Auld Dubliner). As soon as we were seated they served us a complimentary basket of popcorn, nice touch.(it reminded me of the Ground Round years ago). We spotted about 12 beers on draft.(usual suspects like Harp, Guinness and Smithwick’s). The server(Christine) was very nice, enthusiastic and attentive. We had the Bison burger with pepper jack cheese, it was good. We also had one of the recommended chicken sandwiches, tasty as well(I can’t remember the name of the sandwich). They give you a heaping amount of shoe string style french fries. The beer was cold. The prices were reasonable. I spotted a few traditional Irish fare items on the menu as well. They had an acoustic singer/guitarist playing. Overall, I had a good experience. I would come back to this pub again.
