Excellent experience! After lots of consideration I finally decided on shades for three rooms. I love the shades I picked out, and you can’t beat the prices! The staff were very helpful and offered their professional opinion which helped me to decide what would be the best fit. I appreciate all the help I received. Thanks so much!

Unbelievable prices at this establishment. I have had nothing but success with every purchase and enjoyed every bargain. I own several properties and almost all of my window coverings are from A Shade Down. The wood like blinds are such an inexpensive purchase, special order to your dimensions and bring a great new look to my windows! LOVE this place and highly recommend it.

I have never had a problem shopping here. I own an old house with about a thousand windows in it and just about every window is covered by something I bought there. The customer service is not top notch, but the people have always been nice enough to me. They have a HUGE selection in every color and fabric imaginable. What’s nice is that they are all in back so nobody is touching them or taking them out of the package. Their return policy is strict, but as long as you abide by their rules, I’ve never had a problem returning anything there.

Let me start off with lousy lousy customer service! owner and wife have to be the most ignorant people I have ever meet. Their return policy is crazy and they will decide if they want to return items or not the quality is worth way less than what you pay the store is a total rip off. Consider going else where or simply buy on craigs list Denise Medford, Ma

I too, refuse to go here! The woman that owns this place is RUDE!!! She yelled at my son for touching something. I feel like she sits and watches for children to blink so she can yell at them. NOTHANKYOU!!! I will take my hard earned money someplace else!!! I refuse to support small businesses that are rude, and have no business sense!

I was nine months pregnant and we purchased six curtains for our windows(don’t know how that became a priority then, but I blame nesting…) When we got home that evening, we realized that they had charged us for eight curtains when we had only purchased six. We called the next morning to let them know of the error and they refused to believe us. Alright, not great but still reasonable in a world with crappy customer service where everyone is a suspect. My husband asks them if they could check the inventory to see if there is a two curtain discrepancy and they find that there are two extra of the curtains we purchased. Bingo! Nope. They still treat my husband as a prime suspect when they have made the error and refuse to give him the refund until he can personally return to the store yet again(third time with callbacks and visits) with a code word to give the cashier for the credit no less.(Seriously!) I’m talking about serious horrible customer service here. I gave birth and so we didn’t get back to get our credit applied to our card for a week(which is pretty darn good when you have just increased by one whole human being.) They actually gave my husband another difficult time where he actually got red it the face with the exertion of dealing with these awful people(and he doesn’t ever lose his temper!) If you can find curtains anywhere else, please do so, as not to support this kind of humanity in the world. Even if they have great prices, surly customer service, incompetence, and poor business sense should not be rewarded.

Rude store manager. Sales staff is usually outside smoking cigarettes. All the inventory is polyester — no natural fabrics. Returns take up to two weeks to be credited to your account if you use a credit card. Stay away from this low-class, cheap, and poor quality establishment.

Contrary to other reviewers, I have enjoyed shopping here. The staff is helpful, without being intrusive — you can browse as long as you like with out being disturbed. Many of the fabrics and styles are not really to my liking, but this is true of 99% of the curtain shops — that is why one shops curtains — it takes effort to find something that«will work»! I did find curtains for one room — and they have worked out very well — they were good quality and fairly priced — most importantly they look great! A guest once commented that I must shop at Bloomingdale’s!(Fat chance of that!) Prices are definitely in line — and competitive. I think it is worth a stop if you are in the market for curtains.

If you need curtains, go here. Well, if you’re really into decorating and want some designer stuff, don’t go here, but if you’re thrifty about your home décor but want something that makes it look like you put in a little effort, then this is your stop. They’ve got a fairly large selection and they’re all organized by length, so you just pick the aisle with the length you want and start shopping. And all of the curtains are out on display, so you’re not picking them based on judgements made from the picture on the package. I just came back from here with three 54″ by 63″ panels for about $ 30. At almost every other store I looked in, like Target, JCPenney, etc., panels were about $ 30 each! It’s a cheapskate’s dream! I just finished hanging them up and they look great. Well, I think they do, but I’ll wait to get a second opinion before throwing away that receipt. Now all I need is some artwork to hang up and then I can invite people over to my apartment without having to listen comments like, «Geez, Tom, it feels like a hospital room in here.»
