A new gallery in the undiscovered Lanesville area of Gloucester located between Lanes Cove and Folly Cove, this gallery shows off some of the deep well of talent from this area. Long known for its beautiful shoreline and granite quarries, Lanesville attracted many artists, sculptors and writers during the 20th century. This legacy continues with many of Lanesville’s artists showing their work here.
If you are visiting Rockport during the weekend, come home around the other side of Cape Ann (Rt 127, toward Pigeon Cove, Lanesville and Annisquam). You’ll not only miss the traffic, you’ll see great views and have the opportunity to see and purchase some of the fine local art.
