At first I was turned off by their outdated website and the fact that you cannot book a room online (I was not sure it was worth the effort for the back & forth on the phone… and who doesn’t book online these days???)… HOWEVER, I quickly forgot about all of that when we pulled up and saw the amazing view from this hotel. The rooms are very modest (ladies, there are no hair dryers in the room so make sure to pack your own). It was fun to sit by the pool and see the view of the ocean. The best part about this hotel is literally the breathtaking view and the short walk along the amazing crashing waves on the rocks (about 5 – 7 minutes) to the Good Harbor Beach.

The view is phenomenal, location is ideal (5 minute walk to Good Harbor Beach), the staff is beyond fantastic (accommodating to a high maintenance person — ahhh — how rare is that?), the guests are friendly, the pool is clean, each room is unique… when will summer come back so I can return???
This is by far not high end… but it is as close as I get to camping.

We were part of a wedding party for Memorial Day weekend, and the place was perfect for us. All 13 rooms were reserved for the wedding party, and the reception was at the Bass Rocks Elks.
The hotel staff were very accommodating and understanding of the wedding attendees. There is a nice deck with rocking chairs, tables and cushioned chairs. The view is perfect, and the rooms were cleaned.
It is not a starwood hotel, but the website clearly states what they provide and what they do not. It is walking distance to wedding venues and Good Harbor beach foot bridge.
The hotel is renovating 1 part of the building, but it is not the guest rooms.
Because we were the only ones at the hotel, and it was early in the season, we were able to have a small after party on the deck with out too much disruption or interference.
For a Friday and Sat night it was $ 334 total.
