Goose Cove Gardens

GCC is an all-​organic garden center selling perennials, annuals, vegetables, herbs, seed, and supplies. In my 20 years of gardening I have purchased from all sources and at all price points, including mail order. GCC sells only premium materials, no junk. For example, if you want bonemeal, they sell only one brand because they have determined it is the best, it is the one they use themselves. Another example, they sell only one brand of seed, Botanical Interests, and only seeds for plants that do well in our planting zone. No gadgets. No chemically dependent plants that will die when removed from their «dealer». Prices are reasonable given the quality, and perennials bought here will last in your garden. Get to know Barbara, the founder and owner, who is almost always there, she is a great resource for local gardeners.

It’s fun shopping for flowers, but not when you are over charged. I was charged an extra 7.50 for things that I did not buy. Is it worth driving all the way back to try to explain that the slip they wrote up for my purchase was messy and the cashier miss read it? Hmmmmmm. I’ll save my gas and shop somewhere closer.
